We caught up with the brilliant and insightful David Kirst a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
David, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
The message of anti bullying is a hot topic with all of the in school shootings and violence todays youth deal with on a everyday basis. I recently produced a movie with writer Kelby King called THE FINAL CONTESTANT.
It addresses bullying in a non abrasive entertaining way by taking multiple everyday senerios by displaying how to positivley address and make change in a bullying enviroment. The movie is slated for a red carpet premiere Nov 3rd 2023.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
We started ROMINUS JAMES PRODUCTIONS with a deep love for the craft of media and film production. When you love doing something, not only do all our skills come into play, so does our passion and love for the craft, and we believe it all shows with the final product. Along with utilizing state of the art editing software, 4k cameras and 4k drones, we help bring your projects to reality, every step of the way from conception to delivery while supplying locations, crew, equipment, services and more.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Im from a small mid west town in middle of Ohio that has been economicaly devistated by the lost of all major manufacturers that were the life line of our city. Drugs and violence has become a regular due to depression from these factories closing. The city struggles with funding on all levels and parks are going to waste. I am driven to bring back finacial stability to our city by bring in and building the film industry to our city, that will provide jobs, noteriety and raise property value and financial gain.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Delivering what we promise is NOT what we do… instead we OVER DELIVER on what we promise because we enjoy our craft so much, that we really enjoy going the extra mile. Exercising these principles has our reputation and name has reached all four conrers of the world.
