Alright, David thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
I was a professional Recording Engineer and I saw the magic coming across from different musicians when I was recording them. Often I would get goosebumps and chills. So I thought, “How can we reproduce this at will?” That’s when I setup my Sound Healing Institute. That was over 20 years ago.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
David has written the #1 selling books in the both the fields of Recording (The Art of Mixing, The Art of Producing), and Sound Healing (The Complete Guide to Sound Healing). David was originally a physics major at U.C. Berkeley.
We have a state approved Sound Healing College for over 20 years with over 15 instructors. We cover how Sound affects us Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually for both healing and accessing higher states of consciousness.
We also have a Store and Therapy Center with over 15 different treatments we offer. We offer Brainwave Assessments where we find your natural metabolism rate when at peace. We then give you CD’s/downloads in Delta (sleep), Theta (creativity and oneness), Alpha (Learning), Beta (Thinking and overcoming ADHD), and Gamma (blissing out) — tuned to your briain, which makes it way more effective.
We have the Medical Sound Association with over 1000 doctors and sound therapists working together to create treatment plans for a wider range of issues with sound, music and vibration. We also have developed a scientific framework for our health and disease work in the body based on vibration.
We also have created the Sound Education Association. With over 100 teachers and administrators we have created a new curriculum for kids from utero to 18 years old. We are now creating schools around the world.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
My integrity and credibility. Sound Healing can be a woo-woo field. I have always tried to return to the science and never make claims that are not true.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Creativity. I’ve come up with over 100 CDs, 10 different Vibroacoustic products, 4 books, and many associations to help change the world. Including a new framework for understanding health that could eventually help cure all disease.
