Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dave Miranda . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Dave, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
My parents instilled a strong work ethic in me at a very young age. My Mother raised me as a single parent and worked extremely hard with the phone company starting out in customer service and worked her way up to a director position without having to kiss ass or pretend to be something she wasn’t, she just stayed true to her authentic self in a corporate environment that doesn’t normally provide many opportunities for women to rise up, especially in the 90’s, plus she is Hispanic but none of that mattered to her and she kept striving towards greatness and that has inspired me my whole life.
My father was a very hard worker also and taught me how to save money and never make excuses in life, go for yours and always know that no one owes you anything, you go out and earn everything.

Dave, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am an Arizona native and the host of a show called Just Give Me Five where we provide a platform for artists, entrepreneurs, athletes, radio personalities, etc to come and tell their story and be appreciated. Our show is based off 5 in depth questions and that’s what sets us apart from the rest, we give people their flowers while they’re still alive to receive them. I’m very proud of the hard work we’ve put into this platform over the last 2 years and seeing the love and gratitude from guests and new followers is an absolute blessing!
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect is simply being selfless in a world where everyone wants to be the star, that’s why you only see me in the beginning of the show and the end because the goal is to shine light on our guests not myself. I wanna be as genuine as possible with everyone and let them know that I’m coming from a place of pure love.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My mission is to try and interview as many legends as possible and give them the opportunity to tell their story in a genuine way. People that I admire and respect is what I truly aim for in regards of interviewing and I want my platform to be a safe place for them to come and share their journey with me. Especially in this day in age where you have so many platforms that look for negativity and drama to build up their numbers and views but not doing it cuz they genuinely care, that’s not how I operate and never will. You have to have integrity and stand for something right otherwise you’ll just fall for anything and blend in with the rest. That’s truly the creative mission I’m on, getting guests to open up comfortably and share their world with us.
