We recently connected with Dave Meeker and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Dave thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Along with taking care of clients, taking care of our team is one of the most important things we can do as leaders. Looking back on your journey, did you have a boss that was really great? Maybe you can tell us about that boss and what made them a wonderful person to work for?
The best boss I ever had was one that understood my creative level of solving unsolvable problems and building teams. Later in my career, the same boss ended up being my source for working for an enterprise level healthcare institution. We’ve worked on several projects since then – many were impossible situations that we were able to make the best of.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I help healthcare C-Level executives expand their circle of trust to protect the security of their private data.
I’m a Healthcare Cyber Consultant that focuses on a proactive approach for cybersecurity. Using my past 40+ years in the Biomedical/Clinical Engineering culture, I help C-Level executives expand their circle of trust with the security of their electronic data, networks and private patient information. I also help incorporate measures to prevent cyber incidents such as data breaches, hijacked accounts and HIPAA compliance issues.
I’m proud of completing complex problems and give an explanation in plain English.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
During the pandemic, many people were struggling with the technology in a number of ways. This included telling their story or about their available products 100% online versus the other marketing channels.
In New Palestine Indiana we built a trust online and were able to create a communication pathway about essential supplies at became available at local stores. This trust has lasted past the pandemic and beyond.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building an audience on social media starts with valuable content that’s relevant or VCR. The content needs to resonate with your audience and be spoken for a source of truth. You also need to realize that sarcasm doesn’t translate well on social media, especially for the first time readers..
