We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Daunta Bryan a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Daunta, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I hope people remember me whenever it’s all said and done as the guy who genuinely gave more than he made. It was never about the money to me, always influencing others to do the right thing in life no matter what. It may take you longer because you’re doing it the right way and that is perfectly fine.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
So I am an esports coach and a content creator myself. I got into the game industry in 2020 when I played in my first Warzone tournament in Atlanta with Roscoe Dash. He and I still play from time to time as we made became good friends after winning! From there, I realized I had more potential and could even show these events on social media for content. One organization saw my posts and some clips and I now work with @Evolve_yg (on Instagram) with coaching players who’ve had spinal cord injuries causing some disability. I do offer coaching outside of that if anyone ever wants to improve their skill! Feel free to reach out always! I am always live on twitch every chance I get to showcase my skill and IQ.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for anyone reading this is to be yourself. You’ll attract the people who want to be around you and it’ll be so easy to keep them around. Staying consistent another strategy. If you’re always working, people will see that and flock to you.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
You’d never know how difficult it can be sometimes to be a content creator. Playing certain games they might be bugged, underdeveloped, cheaters, etc. Then having to go and show this game to tons of people who may see you as a great player dying due to all of these factors just makes for a bad look. Also mentally it can take a toll on you. MAKE SURE to take mental breaks. Nothing is more important.
