We were lucky to catch up with D’asia Cobbins recently and have shared our conversation below.
D’Asia, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
I had to take a risk. I had to stop listening to people and letting people determine who I should be as a person or what I should do for the rest of my life. I thought what would be my last few moments of my life turned out to be the biggest turning point to my new journey. I started off being very depressed and being in religion for 21 years I decided to leave to become spiritual and never looked back. Once I was able to leave religion I was able to bring forth my spiritual abilities and provide those abilities into a side gig at home. A lot of people did not support what I did and thought I should have gotten a 9-5 job but my spirit said to trust the process, so I built myself up from scratch. I was promoting in Facebook groups including spiritual groups or my favorite group called, Spam & Glam, that’s a famous local women group in my area that built me up. (Shoutout Aliyah, Yovani, Tatianna, Zeidi, Mariany & the others). Special shoutout to Zeidi, she was another healer that I share clients with that grew and supported me as well. I also did pop-up shops and big events. Then I partner up with stores and businesses to be able to sell crystals and do services. When I went on vacation I would always gain new knowledge and began to expand when I came back home. While my side business was fast enough to grow, I was also growing in my job as a casino dealer. Then I got the opportunity to partner with a store in the mall which later on became my very own metaphysical shop thanks to my investors, Perry & Paloma. Due to the growth of my shop, my famous products, and my services spreading all over Illinois and the US, I was able to leave my job and make my side business became my career. By taking that risk, I stopped listening to people, followed my own path, and believed in my own manifestations which brought me closer to God and myself more than ever before. I would have been lost, a failure, or maybe not even here. Now I have a successful business, a nice home, a wonderful community, & more businesses coming soon in 2025 that I can’t say yet.

D’Asia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I own a metaphysical shop called Red Carpet Palace Crystal Jewels in Yorktown mall, Lombard IL. I am a healer, psychic medium, tarot reader, astrologer, numerologist, lightworker, earth angel, high priestess and more.
I am known for my readings, cleanses, and healings. The coolest thing about my craft is talking to the dead. Everyone is scared but not me. I am most proud of selling my famous products that are called “D Money” and “D Attract” candles & oils. The products help people gain up to $25,000 or attract love unexpectedly. It also helped people win money at casinos, quit there jobs, boost there business, meet new people, or improve there relationships.
I also do music on the side and will be dropping an album of music based on tarot cards featuring Zayne Spirit and Only ABG. Zayne featured on my track as her first song that I felt honored to collaborate with. She is also a healer who’s work is so big then anyone imagined (she was interviewed before). Only ABG is one of my favorite upcoming artists who’s music is gas and hits in every spot. You can find his music on all platforms.
Lastly I host a radio show called, The Baby D Show live on Facebook, Twitch, and more. On my show we talk about spirituality, conspiracies, controversies, and the hidden that people don’t know.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
I believe in networking. Networking was the key to everything to be as big as I am. Everywhere I went to whether that be an event, business, online, work, and more. I would meet someone and they would follow me throughout my journey.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Following big bosses around. I became assistants or interns for successful women in order to gain business knowledge and skills. I invested a couple hours once a week of just helping them. I followed Darci from IHeart radio. She host her show called, Making waves with Darci. From her I was able to host my radio show and handle events. I followed Coralee from Alkaline Healing Herbs located in Chicago, IL. She has two shops and growing. I learned about herbs and running a business. In the end, everything paid off for me to be where I am.
