DaShay , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea for my business “The faultless Beauty foundation ” during a time where I had just come out of a traumatic situation. The name comes from the scripture Jude 1:24 “Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless in his presence with exceeding joy” to me that means although you have issues in life and various situations that may be unfavorable God will cover, keep and protect you. Even when you walk through the fire you will NOT smell like smoke or come out burnt. That is my life story.. and it is my goal/mission to help other beauties understand, see, and be just that. Faultless Loud and proud!
DaShay , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Well my name is Da’Shay Perry I am from Dayton Ohio I lived in Hendersonville Tennessee for about 11 years, those 11 years were some of the best years of my life. It was there where my mindset shifted. Dayton is a very small city and hendersonville is about 25 min away from Nashville, more opportunity I was exposed to a lot of amazingness!!! It was there where I had gotten the idea to write a book I was 20 years old but didn’t release the book until I was 25. I also understood my assignment with the Faultless Beauty foundation. I was around a lot of different individuals doctors, lawyers, nurses people in Realestate it was all so motivating and I sort of just fell in line. I believe that it is impossible to be surrounded by individuals that are all in line and making MAJOR moves and you not fall in order. I did and I got the idea to write a book, since then my vision has become bigger and more clear. I couldn’t be happier. I am most proud of my growth , though there is still so much growing to do I am happy to be cognizant that there is work to do and I get to wake up each day and do it. I would like for women to know that my brand is for every woman who has every experienced a life threatening challenge but overcame YOU are a Faultless beauty!!!! You are presented as Faultless and there is someone that can benefit from your story. I empowerHER!! to fight, dream, live and achieve
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
In 2019 I had a dream that I woke up on the operating table I was getting a blood clot removed. It wasn’t just a “Normal clot” It was the clot of unforgiveness, the clot of bitterness, resentment etc. In 2020 I lost my grandparents 3 days apart from one another….I lost my grandpa from Cancer and my grandmother from Heart disease the end of 2020. 3 years later I lost my mother from Heart disease. I was taken back to the dream that I had in 2019 the clots being removed from me but again I woke up while on the table. I still have yet to find out what the significance was in that but one thing I do know is that I am still here and I have a story and I am equipped to help others. In fact my goal is to help as many women and children release trauma, resentment, bitterness, anger and all of the other things that are keeping them from reaching their highest potential!!!
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Think and Grow rich is a constant book that I keep in rotation on Audio. This book has helped me significantly
with just changing my mindset and believing I can do things. Another great book is The body keeps the score
