We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Darwin Salazar a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Darwin, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

It all started when I was just entering college, I always liked the whole world of digital art, that’s where I started using the famous design programs, I started making designs for my friends, and some clients who liked my art, little by little little I began to be known, until today that we have become a great empire, occupying more than 10 countries

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Our company is established in the city of Barinas, Venezuela, our first clients were from the city. We started working hard, we managed to establish ourselves in the Dominican Republic, we managed to conquer that small country, then we settled in the south of the United States, we currently work for important companies dedicated to different sectors of the world market, we managed to conquer Mexico, Canada, Germany, Peru , Chile, Argentina, Spain, Ecuador, Colombia, Equatorial Guinea and others…

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

I started working as a manager of a recognized company dedicated to the automotive sector, but from home I was working internally on what I was really passionate about, after 2 years of intense work, The Social Monkey was born, we stand out for our professionalism and our prices of quality.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?

I started working as a manager of a recognized company dedicated to the automotive sector, but from home I was working internally on what I was really passionate about, after 2 years of intense work, The Social Monkey was born, we stand out for our professionalism and our prices of quality. We have suffered many attacks on our accounts such as Instagram, we have lost more than 5 accounts, right now, we have a new account, dedicated to the Spanish-speaking public.
