Hi Darren , thanks for joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be successful requires a tremendous amount of sacrifices, sleepless nights, and hard work. You can not put stipulations on what you will or will not do. Success requires an attitude geared toward doing whatever it takes to reach your goals. I wrote a self development book titled “Don’t get Outworked” which explains to people step by step how to develop a strong work ethic to become successful.

My name is Darren Taylor and I own and operate Big Show Stables. I started Big Show Stables in 2019 because I have always had a love for horses. During the pandemic my company gave people the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature. The ranch is located 15 minutes from downtown Dallas and we offer horse riding lessons, boarding, training, and breeding. When people leave the ranch they have memories that will last a lifetime.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
My best source of new clients comes from social media and word of mouth referrals. I am able to gain new clients on social media because it allows me to promote content in a unique way. Referrals have been successful because clients trust recommendations from people they know.

Any advice for managing a team?
I would advise to lead by example because you are able to gain your team’s trust and respect. I noticed that my actions influence my team’s satisfaction and attitude, when I am productive my team works just as hard.
