Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Darius Weber. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Darius, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
I would say my biggest risk is taking a step into entrepreneurship. Becoming a realtor you are the business and the brand and the work mainly relies on you. But before that i did not realize it at the time but I was working for a cleaning company and I had a manager but he never came to check up on me but I was allowed to do my job at any time of the day but it had to be done. The hospital i was cleaning would notify him if it wasn’t, so i had to prioritize okay if i don”t go in now its going to be later so sometimes i’d wake up early to get it done or do it late, but I knew it had to be done.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
“I’m originally from Chicago, IL, and I moved here when I was 17. I’ve always been drawn to the real estate industry, partly because of certain family members who were involved, which sparked my curiosity from an early age. I also had a friend’s mom who was a realtor in Chicago, and I vividly remember her sharing a story about selling condos to professional athletes. As someone who loved sports at the time, I thought, this is a great way to interact with them.
My journey into real estate was driven by my commitment and determination. I was scheduled to take my exam right before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and with everything shutting down, I had to adapt and wait. However, I never lost sight of my goal. Now, I’m fully immersed in real estate, and my focus is on solving the problem of helping my clients find their dream homes or sell their properties at the best possible value.”
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I believe the key to growing my clientele is providing exceptional communication. it’s important to let clients know that i’m there for them every step of the way.Whether they are past or present clients, keeping them informed and offering consistent support helps build trust. Additionally, creating a memorable experience and demonstrating a deep knowledge of the area or city ensures they feel confident in my expertise and dedication.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I’ve faced personal challenges while getting into this industry, but i’ve chosen to view them as blessings. In real estate, every deal is unique, and its important to stay adaptable. You often have to think creatively to meet your clients’ needs and desires in the moment. Sometimes.the traditional approach isnt the most effective, and its about finding alternative solutions that work best for the situation at hand.
