Hi Darin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

From the earliest moments of my consciousness, I’ve felt an inexplicable pull toward creativity. Even before I understood the concept of being an artist, I found myself drawn to colors, shapes, and the act of bringing something new into existence. It wasn’t a decision I made consciously; rather, it was an intrinsic part of who I am.

As a child, I spent countless hours lost in my imagination, sketching scenes from my mind or crafting stories out of thin air. There was an innate joy in the act of creation, a sense of freedom and expression that I couldn’t find elsewhere. It wasn’t until later, when I began to learn about art and creativity in a more formal sense, that I realized this was something I wanted to pursue professionally.

For me, the realization that I wanted to pursue a creative path professionally wasn’t a single moment of epiphany, but rather a gradual understanding of where my passions lie. It became increasingly clear that art wasn’t just a hobby for me; it was an essential part of my identity, something I couldn’t imagine my life without.

So, while I may not have known what an artist was in those early days, I’ve always felt the call of creativity deep within me. It’s a part of who I am, woven into the fabric of my being, guiding me toward a path where I can fully express myself and share my vision with the world.

I’m an artist specializing in both painting and photography. My journey into the world of art began with a deep-seated passion for visual storytelling and a desire to capture the essence of life and humanity in its various forms.

In my artistic practice, I offer two main avenues of expression: oil paintings and photography services, with a particular focus on portrait and boudoir photography. Through my paintings, I strive to explore the intricacies of intimacy, celebrating the beauty of life and sensuality. Each stroke of the brush is infused with emotion, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the stories and emotions embedded within the canvas.

As a portrait and boudoir photographer, I am dedicated to empowering and liberating my clients through the art of photography. I work closely with each individual to co-create images that reflect their true essence and inner strength. Whether it’s capturing the vulnerability of a boudoir session or the confidence radiating from a portrait, my goal is to highlight the unique energy and spirit of every person I photograph.

One of my proudest achievements is the establishment of Just That Creative Art Space, a gallery and studio located in my loft. This space serves as not only a hub for my own artistic endeavors but also as a platform to showcase the work of other talented creators.
