We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Daphnee Gaspard a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Daphnee, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

I always wanted to have a cleaning business but I also had a lots of fears. One day due to my daughter having sickle cell and I would always have to ask few days off from work and at time weeks, it wasn’t easy. I got laid off one day and that was the moment I knew I had to put aside all fears and open my cleaning business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Daphnee Gaspard Orelus, and I come from Florida, USA. Being a mother, a wife, a sister, a friend and a workaholic businesswoman, I fully understand the ordeal many of us have to go through while juggling between these wonderful lively roles.

Identifying the challenges and relating to the busy schedules that single moms, working parents, students and even large business entities have to face every day, I decided to establish 3D Spotless Cleaning Services in 2018.

Offering reliable commercial and residential cleaning services throughout Central Florida, my goal is to help families, and corporations get access to clean, hygienic and healthy environments for work and living.

Being a veteran myself in the art of cleaning, I have extensive know-how of the various facets of this job. Adept and skillful, my team and I have leveraged our industry experience to formulate well-thought-out plans, create checks and balances and provide a systematic process of accommodating the needs of different types of clients.

When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family, have fun, play golf and go to attraction parks with my beautiful daughter.

I aspire to help people improve their lives, properties and workspaces by providing consistently excellent cleaning services through well-trained and technically supervised teams.

We are dedicated to making your environments clean, safe and productive.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

So far the best source for me has been referrals, and it makes me very happy because a client used my services and was happy enough to refer me.

Any advice for managing a team?

I would advise to get to know your team individually, because all team members has different personalities and as an owner, you want to know who you working with that way you can understand your team better. Also to keep high morale I would say give your team space to work and trust to accomplish their tasks on their own with little involvement, I think they will be more successful and more exited to do the work.
