We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Danny B. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Danny below.
Alright, Danny thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
There are a few steps I believe it takes to ensure your success and none of them have to do with your skills or the amount of money you have.
I believe success starts from within so the first thing you need to do to achieve any level of success is determine what that looks like for you! Contrary to popular belief not everyone correlates success to tangible things. For some it’s the freedom of time, the peace in achievements, recognition etc. Having a clear vision of what you want to succeed in will help you stay on a clear path to success.
I believe that success not only requires a defined vision but it also requires faith in that vision as well as yourself, discipline, structure, strategy, determination, a sense of flexibility and an unwavering commitment to see your vision of success come to pass.
None of what I mentioned requires anything from you financially to simply say true success starts the moment you see and define what success means to you.

Danny, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi my name is Danny B and I’m the owner of Eat Beauty. Eat Beauty is a brand that is committed to helping our clients show up in the world as the best version of themselves through our beauty services and products.
Eat Beauty was birthed out of a need to become a provider and a parent to my son who was diagnosed with Autism. Today’s work force doesn’t give much leeway to be a completely present parent to the children who have special needs. Eat Beauty allowed me the flexibility & resources to fully show up at home and in the work field.
As a licensed cosmetologist & esthetician we specialize in natural hair care, hair growth, scalp care and rejuvenation, facials, waxing services, a variety of skin care products and LipSting -our Luxury Lipstick line.
In an ever growing industry Eat Beauty is able to stand out because of our education and reputation for exceptional client services. We’ve serviced legendary clients like Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Shelia E and more! Our experience reaches from the stage to the big screen and everything in between. We’re able to bring the same quality services that we’ve served celebrities with and treat our hard working clients with the same treatment. With Eat Beauty our clients are the stars!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I believe what helped me build a reputation in my market was my authenticity. I am unapologetically me, the things about me represent my brand and spill over into my ideals and experience about what customer service should consist of. One thing about being authentic is that I am confident in attracting the audience I was meant to serve.
Authenticity is only one piece of the pie. I believe that Consistency is Key, Reliability is Crucial, Being Integral and Transparent creates Trust and being relevant simply matters when it comes to engagement.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
1st rule of business I had to learn was nothing is going to go as planned lol… sike just kidding but seriously you will achieve your goals just not in the order you might have planned. I believe it’s very important to marry the vision but date the method!
Honestly the fact that Eat Beauty survived and thrived through COVID 19 says a lot about our resilience but in recent days Eat Beauty was impacted in ways I never expected.
The first quarter of 2023 started out amazing, traveling to Texas, Atlanta and Las Vegas for business in January had me excited about what the year was going to unfold. Winning 3rd place in our first pitch competition certainly put a cherry on top of closing March out… oh but April- Dec threw a series of curveballs I wasn’t prepared for.
April I discovered I was with child, which was a blessing but caused me to be so sick I couldn’t run Eat Beauty until the end of May. Just as I was feeling better and ready to get back to the magic tragically my Father passed away in the beginning of June. As one could imagine this news was not just devastating but it was also debilitating as the world that I was knew was no more. After finding the strength to push forward the stress of everything proved to be too much for my body and caused my water to break at 26 weeks. I spent Aug 20- Nov 12th of 2023 in the hospital A total of 85 days between my bed rest, health near death experience during labor and my daughter’s time in NICU it was a journey to say the least.
Im sharing my story of resilience in a very close real time because after 2023 I had to make a real decision about how far the business had come and how far I want it to go and to simply say I chose to continue the work of Eat Beauty!
