Danilsa , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
Woke up one day in my mid-30s and thought to myself…we have only one life and if you’re lucky some live until their 90s and when you think about it that’s not a very long time. Therefore, why shouldn’t we live better? Happier? Free of the traumas that we hold on to. That’s when I decided to smile more and love more. Learned to be more generous with time and emotions assuring those closest to me that they are loved and protected by me. Learned about other people and heard their stories. Learned to see things from a different perspective. Not taking everything so personally. Once my mindset became this I became a better Danilsa defining moment that has improved the quality of my life.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Garden Mum is about bringing joy to people, Lead Pastor of Hope Church in Winter Garden Wes Beacham, has taught us the value of generosity and how that is an important quality to always carry with you. Generosity isn’t about having money or giving it. It’s about giving from your heart the feeling of wanting to help those around you. Giving your time and understanding. He inspired me to do just that “give”. Garden Mum is a small growing business where there is a variety of gifting or crafted items for purchase from Plants and Flower arrangements to uniquely designed appeals and the list goes on. Plants are an amazing thing to have and purchase the benefits of owning plants.

Boost creativity, productivity, and focus definitely has improved the business.
Improve the air quality of your home or where you place them.
Improve health and sleep.
Cultivate a calm mind and a happy heart.
Add humidity to a dry environment.
Help with loneliness and depression, it’s true plants listen when you talk to them.
Crafting shirts, hoodies, and cups give buyers the option to request a design and I bring it to life. Whether it’s a funny quote or a group event and want to represent the group. You name it and it will be done.
Lastly currently completing my book where the hope is that the words written inspire all that read it.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I have one daughter and after having her and being a single mom, I could admit that there were moments and seasons when I had no idea what I was doing and moments when I felt like a complete failure. It was those hard and dark times that made me realize that I needed change in my life. I wanted to raise my daughter with love and a healthy happy home. Began my healing process until I was able to be completely great now i can’t get enough of my daughter her laughter her jokes pranks and her unconditional love.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One important lesson that I have learned was loving again. When my mother and grandparents passed when I was 15 years old I grew numb to any emotions as if they took my whole soul with them to the ground. Dealing with an absent father didn’t help either. Having to figure out life and just surviving every day made me more and more bitter and angry with God, life everything only to learn years later that I was only cheating myself out of love and being loved. Once I allowed love back in everything changed for the better. Love heals and it really does mend.
