We recently connected with Danika Zoe and have shared our conversation below.
Danika, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I want to share the transformative journey that led to the creation of Wild Ambition Co and its deeply meaningful mission. This journey began during a period when my passion for coaching started to fade after ten years of having a private practice despite the outward successes. I realized that I was yearning for something more profound than what traditional coaching frameworks could offer. This wasn’t just about professional fulfillment but a quest for a deeper connection and a more impactful way to empower others.
Through countless conversations, workshops, and, most importantly, listening—both to my inner voice and to the stories, aspirations, and challenges of overachieving women everywhere—I gained a newfound clarity. These exchanges underscored a common need among women for a supportive community to pursue their audacious dreams.
This transformation sparked a wild, audacious dream within me—to create a space where women could not only dream but achieve, not just hope but manifest. I envisioned a place where the magic of supportive sisterhood could elevate every ambition, no matter how wild.
Thus, I founded the Wild Ambition Alliance—a mastermind collective designed to empower women to step into their power, smash their goals, and redefine success on their terms. This initiative was more than a program; it was a community, a movement intended to ensure that no woman would have to walk her path to greatness alone.
Why the Wild Ambition Alliance? I have witnessed, time and again, the transformative power of community. The Wild Ambition Alliance is not just a mastermind group; it’s a carefully crafted program that fosters an environment where women are cheered on every step of their journey towards greatness.
At Wild Ambition, we don’t just invite you to step out of your comfort zone; we dare you to leap beyond it, soar over the canyons of doubt, and plunge into the uncharted territories of your potential. We are here not to tame your ambitions but to set them free and marvel at where the wild leads you.
This mission is deeply meaningful to me because it represents a rebellion against the status quo, empowering women to align with their values and take imperfect action toward exploring their vast, untapped potential. We are the fire starters, the dream weavers, the unapologetic provocateurs of audacious aspirations, and together, we are unstoppable.

Danika, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I had launched my coaching practice as a spirited but apprehensive 27-year-old, overflowing with ambition yet shadowed by doubt. As years passed, I built a flourishing practice guided by deep connections and the profound stories shared by those who crossed my path. However, beneath the surface of success, a subtle disquiet began to stir within me.
Despite reaching my initial goal of a full coaching practice in just eighteen months, the thrill of achievement soon gave way to a gnawing sense of unfulfillment. What was supposed to be a dream realized felt more like a checkbox ticked. I was achieving “success,” yet it felt hollow, devoid of the vibrancy I had envisioned. My practice looked successful on the outside, but inside, it mirrored the naiveté and fears of my early days. It dawned on me that reaching the goal wasn’t fulfilling because I had not crafted the journey or the destination to align with my deeper aspirations.
During this period of introspection, I facilitated a monthly Meetup alongside another coach, which unexpectedly reignited my passion. It was in these sessions, filled with the powerful narratives of women embracing their strengths and vulnerabilities, that I found a profound connection. The energy was palpable, the transformations inspiring. Yet, this made it all the more heart-wrenching when I realized that I had fallen out of love with one-on-one coaching. My heart was no longer in it, and it broke me to admit that my passion had dimmed.
I needed a pivot, not just a minor adjustment but a complete reinvention of my dream. Inspired by the book “Designing Your Life” by Bill Barr and Dave Evans, I embraced the concept of design thinking applied to life and career. This new approach led me to conduct a series of prototype experiments, diving into different fields like change management consulting and connecting with professionals across various disciplines. These explorations were enlightening, showing me a world of possibilities where teamwork and strategy played significant roles—elements I realized were missing in my previous solo endeavors.
This pivot was both daunting and exhilarating. I ventured into the corporate world, a realm I had previously viewed with skepticism, only to find that it offered the new challenges and collaborative environment I craved. As I transitioned, my coaching practice transformed. It became a referral-based haven where I could engage without the previous pressures, allowing me to rediscover the joy in coaching, albeit in a reduced capacity.
Today, my career encompasses both the strategic aspects of change management consulting and the personal fulfillment of guiding individuals through coaching. This blend has reignited my passion and provided a more balanced, fulfilling professional life. My pivot from a disenchanted coach to a revitalized strategist and mentor underscores a crucial lesson: true fulfillment often requires a bold reimagining of our dreams, and the courage to pursue them anew.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
A profound lesson I had to unlearn is that I couldn’t pursue my wild dream alone; it had to be done in the community.
In my early career, I believed that sheer determination and hard work would be enough to achieve my vision. I set out with a clear plan, dedicating countless hours to studying, training, and eventually establishing my practice. I wanted to be the beacon of hope for those who felt lost, and I thought I could achieve this goal by relying solely on my expertise and dedication.
Initially, things seemed to be going well. I was helping people, and their progress reinforced my belief that I was on the right path. However, as time passed, I started to feel the weight of my ambition. I became increasingly isolated, as I was so focused on my mission that I neglected to seek support from others.
I began to reach out to colleagues, mentors, and support groups. I sought advice, shared my experiences, and listened to theirs. This was a turning point for me. I learned that I didn’t have to carry the burden alone. Others shared my passion and were willing to collaborate and support each other.
Building a community around my work transformed my approach. These community initiatives provided additional support for my clients and created a network of people who could relate to and support each other. The sense of belonging and mutual encouragement within the community was powerful.
This journey taught me the invaluable lesson that dreams, especially those aimed at making a significant impact, are best pursued collectively. The strength of a community lies in its diversity of experiences, perspectives, and skills. Together, we can achieve far more than we ever could alone. Embracing this lesson has enriched my professional life, deepened my personal connections, and reinforced my commitment to my mission.
