Absolutely—we serve an underserved community of business owners who are brilliant at their craft but overwhelmed when it comes to the back-end of running a business, especially the financial side.
Let me tell you about one of our clients, a woman-owned contracting company. She had jobs lined up, referrals coming in, and her crew stayed busy—but behind the scenes, it was chaos. What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Honestly? My reputation was built on three things: good work, real knowledge, and genuinely caring for my clients.
I don’t cut corners. I don’t throw around buzzwords. I get in the trenches with my clients, meet them where they are, and help them get where they’re trying to go. When you do good work consistently—especially in an industry where a lot of folks feel confused or overwhelmed—word travels fast.
What really sets me apart is that I care. I care about your business like it’s mine. I care that you understand your numbers, not just that they look good on paper. I care that you’re not just surviving but actually thriving. People can feel when it’s real, and that trust is what keeps them coming back and referring others.

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
Absolutely—DSB Solutions started as a side hustle, but it was born out of a storm.
Back in 2007, life hit hard. I was laid off from my job not long after surviving a severe car accident—one where I literally flew around the car. That moment shook everything. I had a daughter to care for, bills that weren’t going to stop, and no steady income. I wasn’t looking to build a business—I was just trying to survive and keep my baby in daycare.
To make ends meet, I started using what I knew—planning budgets, organizing finances, and eventually helping the daycare with trip planning and financial tracking. I saw a need, and I filled it. Word started spreading. Other businesses needed that same type of structure and support. That’s how DSB Solutions was born—quietly, out of necessity.
But it wasn’t until 2020, while I was recovering from a deep personal crisis, that I saw what God had truly assigned this business to do. That year gave me time to reflect, to heal, and to look at DSB Solutions with new eyes. I realized it wasn’t just about numbers—it was about people, purpose, and peace of mind.
Some key milestones along the way:
• That first daycare project—where I learned how to build systems from the ground up, even on a tight budget.
• Client transformations—watching overwhelmed entrepreneurs become confident CEOs once they understood their numbers.
• 2020’s awakening—when I stopped treating DSB like a hustle and started treating it like the calling it was.
Now, DSB Solutions helps purpose-driven business owners—especially those who feel overlooked or overwhelmed—get their financial house in order. We guide them through the chaos, help them find clarity, and show them how to build real wealth with intention.
It started with me just trying to keep my daughter safe and cared for. Now it’s about helping others do the same—build something lasting, even after life knocks you down.
