We were lucky to catch up with Danielle Lawson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Danielle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s talk about social media – do you manage your own or do you have someone or a company that handles it for you? Why did you make the choice you did?
Being a freelancer and a sole owner of your own business, marketing your business on social networks is critical to get more leads. The question how can you do that, provide service and manage your clientele? I use different platforms to help schedule posts, content calendar and trending reels too keep current.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Her ability to thrive on constructive criticism allows her to flourish in obtaining her goals and aspirations. She is more than confident and capable to tackle any of life’s challenges that come her way because she is always determined & puts people even before herself.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to understand the difference between free work and collaboration. Being a designer and photographer your work speaks volume and that generates more leads so if you don’t have a great portfolio, how do they know if you’ll provide them great service.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I took a risk to get my name out there by creating a blog that received over 60,000 reads and re-shares. It focused on issues in the world but showcased my photography.
