We were lucky to catch up with Daniel Hall recently and have shared our conversation below.
Danielle, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?Currently I’m a Guest Speaker on the Step In Your Truth Tour. Put together by Keynote Speaker and Visionary Jolie Rashawn. I have spoken in Dallas, Texas and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Next Up is Atlanta Georgia.

Danielle , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am Passion The Lioness. I am a poet and author. I published my first book for my 30th Birthday. The title of my book is Danielle Unfolded. It’s a book of poetry about my life. It’s definitely real, raw and uncut. I’ve also been doing some acting. I’m very passionate about what I do. I love inspiring people especially young women.
My goal is to be known world wide. To not only be a pretty face but to make a difference. I feel that if one wins we all win. I want to be that encouragement for the little girls who believe they aren’t good enough.
I am dedicated and determined to make my dreams come true. I will continue to make my mark in this industry.
I am located in Texas but I’m available to travel to other destinations in the U.S.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) When I was 18 years old. I am now 33 years old. I used to be so embarrassed. The pain was unbearable at times. In 2018 I got my first surgery. Between 2018 and 2019 I had 5 major surgeries. They took my sweat glands out of my underarms. Then they did a skin graft. The most painful part was getting the wound vacs changed. I got both underarms done at the same time. It felt like some one was ripping my skin apart every time. I’ve had surgery on my leg. I got a skin graft on my leg as well. They used the skin from my thighs to do the skin grafts. The doctors believe the Hidradenitis Suppurativa caused me to have Cellulitis in my legs. That was even more painful. I couldn’t walk it hurt so bad. I’ve also had surgery on my groin area. This condition is not for the weak. If anything it’s shows your strength. We endure a lot. I have started taking Humira. It has lessened some of my symptoms. The journey still continues. Thankful that GOD gives me the strength to keep going. I’m very grateful for my mother and my support system. It definitely takes a village.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Being able to be free. To express yourself the way that you want to. Inspiring others to not give up. Letting them know that they can do anything they put their minds to. Nothing worth having ever comes easy. If you put in the work you will definitely see the fruits of your labor.
