Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danielle Hall / Passion The Lioness . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Danielle Hall /, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
For me one of the most meaningful projects was the Warrior Women: Blessed Beyond The Diagnosis shoot. I chose women that suffer with serious health issues. To do a inspirational video. Speaking on what their diagnosis is. How it has affected their life. How they deal with it. What words of wisdom would they tell someone who’s dealing with the same issues. It was definitely Empowering to join these ladies. To use our diagnosis for strength to encourage others. Another meaningful project was the Women Empowerment/Body Positivity shoot. Inspired by my poem titled Perception. I’m so proud of the ladies for stepping out of their comfort zones. Getting their power back. It feels good to be free. Love the skin you’re in.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Danielle Hall aka Passion The Lioness. I have worked as a runway and print model for 7 years. I also write and perform poetry. I’m a published author. I published my first book of poetry on my 30th Birthday. I have done some acting as well. I’m very passionate about what I do. I love inspiring people especially young women. I started writing poetry since I was a little girl. The show Moesha actually inspired me to start writing. I didn’t start performing until I was 18 years old. I tried to commit suicide. I ended up in trinity springs in Fort Worth, Texas. While I was there a guy that worked there said “You don’t seem crazy. You just seem like you’ve been through some things. What do you like to do???” I told him that I like to write poetry. He said “Let me hear something.” I did the first poem I wrote titled Me. He said “Baby girl that’s good. I want you to do something with that gift.” When I was released. I looked up poetry in Fort Worth. I started off in a Slam competition. Then I began to perform at open mics. I met a lot of great people and artists. I started modeling because for a while I was lost in life. I wasn’t confident about myself. I began to lose hope. I felt like I didn’t belong in this world. Modeling gave me confidence. Not only am I helping myself but it lead me to help others like me. My goal is to be known world wide. To not only be a pretty face but to make a difference. I feel that if one wins we all win. I want to be that encouragement for the little girls who believe they aren’t good enough. I am dedicated and determined to make my dreams come true. I will continue to make my mark in this industry.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I love the fact that I can create freely. I enjoy inspiring others. It helps me by helping others. We are in this together. I remind them that they aren’t alone. What we often feel is our weakness is actually our strength. It brings much joy to my heart. To know that I’ve helped someone overcome their struggles in life.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Between 2018 and 2019 I have 5 majors surgeries. Due to my health condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Which caused Cellulitis in my leg. Those surgeries almost took me out. Instead of quitting I used the pain in my photo shoots and videos. I turned my pain into power. GOD gave me the strength to keep pushing through. I plan to write a book about my journey.
