We were lucky to catch up with Danielle Griffith recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Danielle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
MedPro Healthcare Training was born from a deep-rooted passion for caring for others and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare community. As a nurse with over a decade of experience, I witnessed firsthand the growing need for well-trained, compassionate healthcare professionals. I saw students with dreams, parents seeking stability, and individuals looking for a second chance—all needing a path to enter the healthcare field with confidence and competence.
MedPro was founded to meet that need.
Our mission is deeply personal. It’s about more than just education—it’s about empowerment. At MedPro, we strive to create opportunities for people to build better futures, support their families, and serve their communities through healthcare. We believe in nurturing not only skill, but also purpose, integrity, and compassion in every student.
This is more than a school. It’s a calling.
And it’s why MedPro is proudly “Where Your Career in Healthcare Begins!”

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hello! I’m Danielle Griffith, owner and founder of MedPro Healthcare Training. My journey in healthcare began long before degrees or job titles—at home, with my younger sister Bridget. Bridget was nonverbal and a quadriplegic, and from a young age, I took on a caregiving role. Helping her navigate daily life taught me the values of patience, empathy, and resilience. Bridget didn’t just shape my childhood—she shaped my purpose. Caring for her gave me the passion and direction that led me to dedicate my life to healthcare.
I officially began my academic journey at the University of Michigan, earning a degree in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science. My first professional role was as a Program Coordinator at Eisenhower Center in Ann Arbor, a renowned traumatic brain injury facility. Working closely with patients recovering from life-altering injuries deepened my commitment to serving others and ultimately led me to pursue nursing.
In 2015, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and became a licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan. Over the years, I gained hands-on experience in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health settings. My desire to continue growing brought me back to school, and in 2019, I completed my Master of Science in Nursing, becoming a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner.
Beyond clinical work, I found joy in teaching and mentorship. I’ve served as an adjunct professor at Chamberlain University, Dorsey College, and Wayne County Community College, where I helped educate and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
With over 17 years in the healthcare industry, I founded MedPro Healthcare Training to bring everything full circle: my clinical experience, my love for education, and my commitment to service. MedPro is more than a training center—it’s a launchpad for people ready to make a real impact in the world of healthcare.

What I Want You to Know
MedPro Healthcare Training is built from both knowledge and heart. If you’re ready to make a difference in healthcare—and in people’s lives—your journey starts here.
Because at MedPro, your career in healthcare truly begins here.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Starting MedPro Healthcare Training was not a straight path—it was a winding road filled with obstacles, delays, and moments of deep doubt. There were times I felt like I was standing still while the dream in my heart was racing ahead. I had the vision, the experience, and the passion. But what I didn’t always have were the resources and funding to move at the pace I wanted.
There were days I questioned everything. I remember sitting at my kitchen table, late at night, surrounded by paperwork, financial projections, and endless to-do lists. I wanted to create a space where people could begin their careers in healthcare with support and confidence—but I was facing roadblocks that made it feel out of reach. At my lowest, I felt like time was slipping away while my goals remained just out of reach.
But in those moments, I made a choice. I reminded myself: “You are making progress. It doesn’t have to happen all at once.” I learned to give myself grace. I leaned on faith, family, and the belief that this vision was placed in my heart for a reason. Every small step forward—every form submitted, every phone call made, every student inquiry—was proof that progress was happening, even when it didn’t feel fast enough.
What kept me going was knowing that MedPro wasn’t just about me—it was for the people who needed a chance. People like my sister Bridget, who taught me what true care looks like. People who are passionate about healthcare but need someone to believe in them first.
Today, when I look around and see students thriving, instructors teaching with passion, and lives being changed, I know the struggle was worth it. MedPro is here because I refused to give up—and because I learned that resilience isn’t about never falling. It’s about rising again, with purpose.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
When I first started building MedPro Healthcare Training while working full-time, I was stuck in a mindset that glorified hustle. I believed that if I just kept going—working late nights, pushing through exhaustion, sacrificing sleep—I could somehow outrun time and reach my goals faster. My to-do lists were endless, my calendar was packed, and rest felt like something I hadn’t earned yet.
But here’s the truth: that mindset nearly broke me.
There were nights I would stay up until 2 or 3 a.m. trying to complete one more task. Then I’d get up at 6 a.m. to head to work. It felt like the only way to move forward. But my body started sending signals—headaches, fatigue, brain fog, irritability. And eventually, I had to face a hard truth: I was building something beautiful, but I was burning myself out in the process.
I had to unlearn the idea that nonstop movement equals progress. I had to learn how to listen to my body, to sit still, and to rest—without guilt. I started asking myself, “What’s truly urgent? What can wait?” I began making task lists and then prioritizing them instead of trying to conquer everything in one day.
And most importantly, I reminded myself: you only get one body, one mind, one spirit. If I truly wanted to serve others through MedPro, I had to start by taking care of me.
Now, I build rest into my routine—not as a reward, but as a necessity. Because you can’t pour from an empty cup, and success doesn’t come from running yourself into the ground. It comes from showing up fully—and to do that, you need restoration, not just resilience.
