Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danielle Ford. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Danielle , thanks for joining us today. Is there a heartwarming story from your career that you look back on?
One of many heartwarming moments I will share with you. Two years ago, I had a client who was referred to me who was struggling with health issues. She had recently been diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). Imaging confirmed she had 2 lesions on her brain and spine. Prognosis of living the rest of her life in a wheelchair was inevitable. Then, her search for all options of healing began.
She was referred to me for Craniosacral Therapy as well as Somato Emotional Release. Not really sure what it was but openminded. We began treatments. I treated her once a week for six weeks. At eight weeks she went to her neurologist for a follow up with MRI. To his surprise, the lesions on her brain were nearly gone and the ones on her spine had resolved.
What most people don’t know is that with proper facilitation, listening to the body and releasing Dis-ease or energy cysts within the tissues of your body caused by traumas in your life will allow the body to heal on its own.
This client had her life back and better than ever. The gratitude she showed, the trust she had, and the determination to find a different way of healing paid off. I am still to this day humbled and honored to be a part of her story. She still comes to see me once a year just to say Thank You.

Danielle , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, my name is Danielle Ford, (Dani). I have been a practicing licensed massage therapist for 6 years. I specialize in Craniosacral Therapy, Somato Emotional Release, Reiki and other energy modalities. I work with people of all ages. Infants, pediatrics of all ages and adults.
Before this I worked in the health care industry for 10 years. I made the decision to leave traditional medicine when I was introduced to massage therapy and the power of holistic healing. I then realized that I wanted to, and could help others find relief of physical pain, emotional and physical trauma, and help bolster resistance to disease. Providing other options of healing.
I dedicated my life to furthering my education and career. Schooling, attending advanced seminars and becoming certified in any and every modality available. Wanting to provide the most beneficial healing experience to each individual.
My passion for this work has been very beneficial to people seeking help with a wide range of healthcare challenges and symptoms. This includes:
-Migraines/headaches
-Chronic pain
-Traumatic brain injuries and concussions
-Spinal cord injuries and scoliosis
-Fertility, Pregnancy, and Birth
-ADD/ADHD/OCD
-Behavioral issues in pediatrics
-Fatigue, insomnia
-Depression, anxiety, PTSD
-colic, lip/tonge tie, latching
-TMJ
The list goes on and on.
When I am facilitating treatment, I allow the body to tell me what it needs. This is accomplished by connecting with each individual’s non-conscience and inner physician. I am guided and help provide the body with what it needs to release, restore, renew.
With craniosacral therapy, I provide a very gentle yet powerful, hands-on method which allows evaluation and enhances the functions of the body. Releasing restrictions within the tissues and decompressing the spine and bones of the face and head. Improving and restoring other systems in the body such as immune, nervous, and digestive.
Those of us who have suffered with emotional and physical traumas in life, are never given awareness when it comes to the holistic mind-body somatic approach of healing. Traumas are held in the body’s tissues. When they are not released, it begins to cause dis-ease and disease within the body. So, with somato emotional release we can release the tissue memory and decrease the effects of the trauma. Allowing a better quality of life emotionally and physically.
I live every day with passion. I am so grateful to be able to be a part of so many peoples healing journey. Being able to witness lives being changed every day. I do my best to help guide the body and spirit with knowledge, skill, grace and compassion. Providing a safe and comfortable space to heal.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Aside from google reviews and word of mouth referrals, giving my whole heart into my work every day.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
The most helpful thing for succeeding in my field is treating each person as if they are family, providing the best care to my ability and achieving results so that clients refer others.
