Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danielle Caselnova & Jessica Meahl. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Danielle & Jessica, appreciate you joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
So long story short, we got the idea when we went to visit our best friend’s mother to continue our annual tradition after she had passed. We were trying to talk her mom into getting tattoos and she had taken us to get permanent jewelry instead. We decided this would be something great for us to bring back home to offer to friends and family and to honor our friend. It was also a good reason for us to get together on a more frequent basis, meet new friends, and make a little extra doing it. Once we got all of our inventory and equipment we had to figure out away to offer our services to the community. Jessica had some friends that owned nutrition shops & she had successfully lost 35 lbs from their shakes & teas. We reached out to see if they’d like to collaborate. Our first few pop ups have been super successful! It’s such a fun time and it brings us business but also brings business into the nutrition shops to people who may not have usually stopped there.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
For those who haven’t met or read about us yet, we are Danielle & Jessica. The owners of You Me & Her Permanent Jewelry. After our fateful trip to Georgia to visit our friends mom and get our matching anklets we kicked it into high gear when we got home. We did a ton of research and asked a BUNCH of questions. We are lucky enough to have a friend that is a welding instructor and he taught us the basics and we self taught the rest. We currently sell sterling silver & 14k gold filled chains and charms. We always take requests and do the best to provide what our customer wants. We strive to provide a quality product & experience and hope that our customers will always leave wanting more. We have been extremely blessed with the network of businesses and friends we have made and the collaborations we’ve had and have in the future and have remained booked since the start of our business. We are hoping to invest in a trailer that we will convert into a mobile jewelry shop soon so that we can take appointments & have our own space for pop-ups. We have such a great community & can’t wait to see It continue to grow and to meet new friends & hopefully continue to see some old ones along the way.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Pick something that works and stick to it. For us, the nutrition shops have been really amazing to do pop-ups with. The owners are all so great & we are thankful for them sharing their spots with us. It’s something we enjoy too so it’s a good niche for us to collaborate with them.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Word of mouth for sure and of course some of the nutrition clubs customers that they so kindly share with us.
