We recently connected with Daniel Stephfon Wade and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel , thanks for joining us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.

After taking a much needed break from the music industry for almost 10 years, from 24hr studio sessions, performing at any and every open mic in town and out of town. To writing and doing background for artist and friends with no paperwork, just the love of creating and utilizing my gift. Also with the main goal in mind, the tireless task of being signed to a major label. I received an opportunity Oct. 2021 to sign a production deal attached to distribution with The Orchard Entertainment Company, an American music and entertainment company, specializing in media distribution. It is a subsidiary of Sony Music, based in New York City. I was ecstatic as you can imagine. First, we started off with one single entitled “Touch My Body,” then if success of 100,000 plus streams phase into an EP entitled “Dear World Hello 4+1” by Stephfon, my Artist name. I had a great job working at Verizon in Sales. Due to the demand of the project I decided to quit my job and go all in on my passion, it was now or never. During the preparation of my first Single “Touch My Body” released on Feb,14,2022 my girlfriend revealed we’d be expecting our first child together, Whoa!! I was over the moon as we’d been trying for over a year prior to the news. The race was on! From TikTok campaigns, IG posts, and Indie Radio plays. I reached my goal of 100,000 streams on April 28,2022. To top it off, my EP was released on Oct 7th.2022. The same day my daughter was born, Aaliyah Melody Wade. Needless to say it was worth the risk!

Originally from Pasadena, California currently residing in Florida. Born from an entrepreneurial family, Father in the Mortgage industry, Mother in the Arts (i.e. Ballet, Theater etc.). Today, as a new father my business focus is in a few categories; Financial Services; Mental Health; Travel; and Creative input.

The products I offer in Financial Services is Life Insurance, with a focus on IUL’s (Index Universal Life). The need I stress to my clients are not only to be insured for your family, but also for your future. This particular product offers a death benefit paired with tax deferred growth options, also with the freedom of borrowing at 4% for the life of the policy.

Recently becoming Mental Health First Aid Certified, I’d like to assist in lending a non judgmental ear and creating a self-care action plan. For in these times I feel an overwhelming need to grip the hands, hearts, and minds of my neighbor.

Over 5 years working for Top Fortune 500 companies such as Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, also running my own Travel Agency through Inteletravel. I’ll always have a desire to oblige with providing guests with an excellent vacation experience. Although, presently unaffiliated, I’m still heavily connected to aforementioned brands.

Creative input is a commodity I will always possess, from collaborating on Crypto Projects, Apps, Naming Podcasts, and writing and arranging songs. No matter what I’ll have an Idea to bring impact.

In 2012 I was involved in a car accident witch left me in ICU for 3 days.

In 2012 I lost a Recording Contract with Atlantic Records as a result of the car accident.

In 2020 Covid-19 hit super hard affecting the Travel Industry bring it to a complete halt.

Have you ever had to pivot?

After Covid-19 it was extremely difficult to find work in sales. After reading over 25 books in self-help and positive mindset strategies I began to increase my skills. Obtaining my 2-15 Insurance License, Mental Health First Aid Certification, and currently in training for Tech Sales through Course Careers.

I believe having to Pivot is now a way of life.
