Daniel , appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I have been in ministry for over 30 years, and I serve as an Overseer and Prophet. I am the founder of Faith & Works Outreach Ministries, Heaven to Earth Worship Center (HEWC), and Open Heaven Academy alongside my lovely wife, Prophetess Esther Powell. I am also the visionary and conference host of Broken Men On the Altar (BMOA), an annual men’s conference that is held in Tampa, FL. What sets me apart from others is that I am an author of the book titled “How to Live as Citizens of Heaven” and a teleconference host. As an Overseer with an apostolic grace, I have been assigned to the area of birthing churches and overseeing ministries in Florida, Georgia, Germany, and the Philippines, along with spiritually covering several itinerant evangelists and prophets as a spiritual father. I am most excited about what the Lord has done in my life, what He is going to do in my life, and in the lives of His people. I am most proud of my salvation, being a husband, a father, and a grandfather. What also sets me apart from others is that I have stayed under the same spiritual covering and have accepted the foundational teaching of Jesus Christ that the Head Apostle – Apostle Kathy Kinchen has taught me for over 30 years and counting.
The Lord delivered me from many challenges. He has delivered me from drug addiction, homelessness, living in poverty, gang banging, selling drugs, serving prison time, depression, and obesity because I gave my life to the Lord Christ Jesus and became a born-again believer. This was not an overnight process, but I had to make the decision to surrender my life completely to Him. In doing so, He has caused me to prosper spiritually, naturally, and financially in every area of my life. It has not been an easy road for me, but it has equipped and shaped me into the man I am today and will continuously grow and develop into.
Lessons I have learned along the way are to be obedient to the word of God, practice righteousness, love God’s people, and forgive and release. Jesus Christ can use anyone to do His will if they are willing to let Him be Lord over their lives and stay encouraged. I want the world to know that Jesus Christ is real and He can set us free from darkness, sin, generational curses, and demonic oppression.

As an Overseer, with an apostolic grace, I have submitted Faith & Works Outreach Ministries under the leadership of my international covering, K.K. Ministries, and Overseer, Apostle Kathy Kinchen. Under her leadership, I was trained and known for working in prison, street, hospital, and music ministry. God directed me to the Tampa Bay area just six years ago to demonstrate the ministry of Jesus Christ. Faith & Works Outreach Ministries is impacting lives through, a food distribution ministry, Open Heaven Academy for grades K-12, Heaven to Earth Worship Center, and various outreaches, including the Philippines and South Africa. Teaching that faith without works is dead, this word revival has resulted in several published authors: Prophet Daniel Powell Sr.: “How to Live as Citizens of Heaven”, Evangelist Dr. Amber & Ashley Goodman: “Abba Father & Me”, “The Outcast Pharmacist, “ “Double Portion TO Know Him,” Prophet Daniel Powell II: “Field of Dreams and Nightmares,” ”The Glory Trail Field: of Dreams II,” Prophetess Amber Love: “Soar Beyond Your Limiting Thoughts and Emotions,” “Kingdom Demonstrator,” Sister Nakiara Powell: “Prayer for Beginners: Millennial Edition,” and “21 Days of Eating Better: Your Health Matters to God.” and businesses: Open Heaven Academy, Heart of Love Training, Powell’s Fine Dining, Heavenly Sweets by Holly, Godifestation Babe, Licensed Real Estate Agent, Always Keep God First, Mrs. G’s Braids & Beauty, BraidsbyMariahe, Certified Kutz Barber & Beauty, within the HEWC congregation. Many have given their lives to Christ by the moving of the Holy Spirit. Many have also been physically and emotionally healed, moved out of subsidized housing, and are now married. As the Heaven to Earth Worship Center sanctuary banner and ministry t-shirts proclaim, “Where Jesus is Using Ordinary People to do Extraordinary Things!”
Overall, I am most proud of my salvation, being a husband, a father, and a grandfather. What sets me apart from others is that I am a visionary. As previously mentioned, I am the conference host of an annual men’s conference in Tampa, FL, called Broken Men On the Altar (BMOA). I was always a man that could be broken before the power of the Lord God almighty. Allowing the hand of God to deliver me from my hidden sins, to be broken and to be able to stand. The Lord spoke to me and said, “you are and will always be a broken man, stay broken before me, and I will always be able to meet with you to deliver you, purge you, grace you, and to cause you to stand in my presence.”
The BMOA conference is not about men going through hardship and the weight of that hardship, even though that might be so, but the BMOA conference is more about being men in the kingdom of God. This conference is ordained by the Lord, creating a stage for men who are saved or who have a made-up mind to seriously surrender their lives to the Lord to become holy men. The Holy Spirit has brought together men to be broken in humility, crying out for the Lord’s help to strengthen us and to cause us to strive to become better men of God spiritually, naturally, and financially. Furthermore, this conference is for men who will allow the teachings that will come from the speakers that the Holy Spirit has chosen to teach the word of God on how to become God-fearing leaders, husbands to our wives, and fathers to our children

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

Struggles and longsuffering are a part of life and make testimonies powerful. Most importantly, obstacles/challenges cause people to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord. It has not been a smooth road for me, but it has equipped and shaped me into the man I am today and will continuously grow and develop into. Some of the struggles along my way began when I was a young man because of the choices I made. I however, through the love of Jesus Christ, overcame them, and now I am sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a powerful testimony!

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I’ve had to unlearn doing things my own way and submit to obedience to the word of God, practice righteousness, love God’s people, and forgive and release. This is how I became successful in Christ. Jesus Christ can use anyone to do His will if they are willing to let Him be Lord over their lives and stay encouraged.
