We were lucky to catch up with Daniel Odesanya and Cherie Chua recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Daniel and Cherie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you have any advice regarding quality control and maintaining quality as your brand grows?
As our team grows, we keep very high standards to our quality control to ensure top-notch consistency for nothing other than stellar 5 star reviews. We ensure every staff member goes through rigorous training weeks and ensure reminders are made through our training ipad daily. We have created step by step videos and pictures for referral and work to make sure a manager approves every order that goes out. It is the little things that count for our business and the smallest and simplest things. such as a handwritten note and custom add-ons that go a long way!

Luxe Bites birthed from two people coming together two different environments but with a mission and vision of the how the future would look for the business. Luxe Bites is a Los Angeles-based company that specializes in celebrating all special occasions with the enjoyment of luxurious charcuterie boards, gift boxes and grazing tables. We started off in 2018 making charcuterie boards as a fun hobby for cocktail parties. Dazzled friends on social media and the inevitable rise in the charcuterie board trend allowed us to turn our passion into a service to spread love through the delivery of readily assembled charcuterie gift boxes and platters! Our charcuterie boards have become the new exciting trend and one of the best gift deliveries in LA to send to your loved ones.
In the last two years, we are proud to have expanded our offerings and servings to meet our client’s vision beyond their wildest dreams. We never say never and work around the clock to make our client’s days special events even more memorable. We aspire to the best charcuterie board and caterer in LA and continue to find ways to elevate and to stay ahead of the curve. The countless 20 hour days become worth it to see the smile and appreciation from the guests.

We do our best to accommodate and go the extra mile for our client even if it may inconvenience us. We have learned to understand the last minute nature of the city– From corporate catering to production catering and cancellations that our clients deal with from other caterers, we remain flexible and available. Throughout the last year fews, the thriving journey has nonetheless encountered some road bumps. We have learned many valuable lessons from hiring people that may not be the best fit, from overcommitting to too many events in one day, and for clumsy mistakes and falls when the clock is ticking! Our entrepreneur journey continues to be one of many new lessons and realizations and we never take any mistake or situation personal. It is all about embracing the journey and not so much worrying about the end destination. We both come from high-earning corporate positions and cherish the freedom running our own business has brought– Something money can never buy!
