Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Daniel Nave. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Daniel, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

I was looking to create a company that help artists with their musical journey. I wasn’t 100% sure what that would include, but after 8 years we are growing and finding new was to help artists grows their music careers from music distribution, booking shows, marketing/promotion, music video creation, and more.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

In 2018, owner Daniel Nave of Bad Wolf Entertainment and Keeley Tchaikovsky of Tchaikovsky Entertainment decided to form a partnership with their companies to combine talent, experience, resources and grow in the continuously evolving entertainment industry. In 2020, they went on to form Tchaikovsky – Bad Wolf Entertainment, LLC in order to expanding the services that they provide such as live events, audio production, video production, music publishing, video publishing, marketing to musicians, bands, producers and more.

Tchaikovsky Entertainment worked with some of the biggest legends in electronic music dance scene as well as host live events in the PNW and the west coast for nearly 2 decades. Bad Wolf Entertainment’s early days started in Knoxville, Tennessee then officially became a business in Washington state in 2015 where it would begin to develop the artist support platform that has grown today. In 2017, Bad Wolf Entertainment began to work its way in to the Denver dance music scene.

Tchaikovsky – Bad Wolf Entertainment, LLC operates officially in Denver, Colorado and Seattle, Washington.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Best way to manage a team is to not manage them. I have found more growth in individuals when coaching and leading them to success rather than managing their whole process as music creators. This builds morale because it builds trust within the team.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

We work hard to ensure we are following industry standards and keeping up with the changes. This means educating others in the community. When our clients and partners see us work, they are truly impressed on our effort and push to do things the right way with integrity and honesty. We hold eachother accountable to ensure we operated at a higher standard. Much of the industry standards in the EDM community aren’t as well known or followed by your average dj/producer and we try to help bridge that gap when they join us.
