We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Daniel Juravlea. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Daniel below.
Daniel , appreciate you joining us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
When I first started learning how to create 3D artworks using Blender, I was fascinated by the limitless possibilities of expression it offered. Through my artworks, I was able to explore different concepts, convey emotions, and express my thoughts in a way that I couldn’t with traditional 2D forms. As I continued learning and practicing, I discovered the thrill of creating something new from scratch, of combining ideas and elements to create something unique, and of seeing my imaginations come to life. My experience learning Blender helped me gain valuable skills and a deeper understanding of artistic expression.
Blender allowed me to connect with other artists and learn from them, opening up a whole new world of possibilities. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, and one that I’m glad I took. My experience learning Blender has been invaluable, and it’s something that I’m proud of and I will continue to explore.
Daniel , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Daniel, I am a 20 years old Graphic designer and Visual artist born in Romania but currently based in Germany, Most of my portfolio and work consists of Cover artworks for well-known musicians, Animations and personal artworks. I share most of my art on social media platforms like Instagram by the name of @acruxgod.
I would describe my art as a mix of Fantasy, Futuristic and semi-realism.
One of the things I am most proud of is the fact I was able to work with almost all of the people I used to actively listen to while being a teenager, This allowed me to create great relationships with people and enhanced by entire journey.
I am always available for custom made artwork commissions and I would love to work with new people and companies on exciting and creative projects!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is being able to express your ideas, emotions, and thoughts through your work and craft. It feels incredibly rewarding to bring your imagination and vision to life through creative expression, and to have the ability to share it with others in a meaningful way. The process of creating art is also a powerful means of self-discovery, introspection, and growth, helping you understand yourself, your values, and your place in the world better. Overall, being a creative is a deeply fulfilling and meaningful experience that can contribute significantly to personal development and fulfillment.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Artists play a crucial role in society, creating artwork that reflects our culture and society and adds beauty, emotion, and meaning to our lives. However, it can be difficult for artists to make a living in a world where their creativity is not consistently valued and appreciated.
To support artists, society can create pathways for artists to monetize their art and provide access to resources, networks, and platforms. Funding for arts education and programmes can also be a vital investment, allowing young artists to explore and experiment and find their voice. Finally, society should work to foster a culture of appreciation and support for the arts.
