Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Daniel Gutierrez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, Daniel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?

In my process taking risk was my only way for true joy, making risky choices mainly monetary and luxurious sacrifices in order to be available to my art, to get major results you need to have the time to earn and master the skills you have to decide do you want to be a professional or is it just a hobby?

Daniel, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My Name is Danni G (ig @dannig) I was born in venezuela i moved to usa when i was 19 due to political distress and violence at the time.
Due to my background in gymnastics i was able to get a job with Cirque du soleil in new york city year 2006 till 2013 as an multidisciplinary acrobat.
Always keeping my Djing and production as a hobby on the side.
Post Cirque i moved to La to persuade movies as a stunt actor where i got to fulfill many roles for many big directors (james cameron , robert rogrieguez , spilberg and many more.)
As time went by my passion for music grew and slowly started to take most of my time as i started getting bookings at festival world wide this lead to start my own collective/label Afromantis (@afromantiscreativecollective)
In 2017 i took a complete new route where is started my on kombucha with alcohol company and it was doing so good it was being sold in 40 markets in La but then famous covid came and well i had to put that to rest but the music and film making is my full forte and how i make a living today in combination with touring with country star Carrie Underwood who i do circus acts with thru out the year in her new Residency show.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

Doing what we love is key we spend most of our lives at work so make sure to do something that keeps you happy
