We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Daniel Fiorda. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Daniel below.
Daniel, appreciate you joining us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
My father gives me the opportunity to educate myself in an alternative way. rather than simply send me to high school when I was 14 years old, he gives me the option to join painting and drawing classes with a private teacher and also encouraged me to enter the music school.
for three consecutive years, that was my education, but at the same time, my father asked me to help him in his welding shop in Buenos Aires, all the knowledge to work with power tools and the art of welding I translated later in my early projects as a sculptor.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
As I mentioned before, my career as an artist began in my teenage years, and quickly gain momentum especially when I was offered to participate in an art exhibition when I was only 19 years old, in a professional art gallery. also, I got an art critic to write about my work in a very popular newspaper, from those years until today I never felt wavering about what to do in my life, I knew it right away, it was ART.
I always found that challenging myself is important, I don’t like repeating myself.
I started making art with discarded metal pieces and today I am working with Cement as my main material, always something new, but at the same time relevant to what’s going on with society and the place where I live.
with time, parallel to that, I develop a musical project with a group of friends with a focus on improvisation and alternative soundscapes composition, which we call it “UOM” ( unheard of music) which we continuing until today
and also the last couple of years I launched my own music project which you can find in different social media platforms
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to be able to engage people to see or hear my artwork as an expedient means, to question the infinite possibilities of life. That gives me and I hope gives hope to the viewers.
After all, first, we are all humans, and we need each other to thrive, Art is the true human revolution that we need.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
Besides all the responsibilities and obligations that, I have to maintain to be able to create an interesting and engaging body of work, I have to take care of myself, emotionally, and physically. I have to find ways to use the hours of the day wisely, so I can have a balanced hour of studio work, eat healthily, and practice some sport or discipline ( i am practicing now Chi Gong and Tai Chi ).
I am good at socializing when in the right place and time, but in my experience, the path of Making art is a lonely journey.
