Daniel, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
Prior to starting my Sleep Mask business I would always use sleep masks. However I kept on loosing them on airplanes and trains. It was really frustrating to have to spend $20-$30 on a new good quality sleep mask every month. After I launched my product I started to realize the I was getting many repeat customers. Finally I reached out to a few of them and asked them why are they purchasing a new mask after only two weeks of use? The most common reply was because they kept on loosing their favorite sleep mask. That’s when my entrepreneur mind kicked in. That’s the moment I realized that I will start offering free masks replacements no questions asked. Just show me proof of your original purchase. Since that day any customer who lost their sleep mask or needed a new one for any reason they no longer had to pay full retail price. All they do is pay S&H and I send them a new mask for free. Their algorithm is tweaked so precise that once you learn how to use the platform correctly it helps you connect with millions of users that are interested in whatever industry that you are in. I would highly recommend to learn skills based on FB marketing. It will help your business tremendously

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I had the idea years prior to my launch. However I did not have the necessary capital . I had just gotten married and received wedding presents as well as cash. My wife and I immediate said lets use our wedding money to launch the business. We were able to recoup our initial investment in the first three months. We never had to borrow money again.
