Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Daniel Andrews. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Daniel, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I knew pretty early on when I was about 8 years old. I started performing in church with my mom and there was just something about being in stage that was just so different, and I knew then it was something I had to pursue.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I got into the industry at a pretty young age. By the time things started to move along in a positive direction I had to make a choice to continue it or focus on my family. At that time I chose family. I wouldn’t change anything even now. I basically just pushed pause for quite a long time to be honest. Once my wife and I went thru the passing of our son, that situation had a unique way of bringing me back to pursuing my dream. Once I pulled the trigger to do so, things very quickly started falling into place. I am now just.a week or so away from my first national radio single hitting the stations. It’s been an incredible crazy ride to say the least.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

I chose to select the family life over the road life pretty early on. I personally think there is no right or wrong answer there. It comes down to personal preference to me. I was just raised a certain way and wanted that same type of lifestyle for my family at the time. I truly believe that in those moments you should choose together what’s best for everyone involved.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Right now for me my goal is to just be successful doing what I love and be able to comfortably support my family.. I truly believe that if you can be successful at what you love, you will never work a day in your life.
