We were lucky to catch up with Danica Najar-Redin recently and have shared our conversation below.
Danica, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Growing up i was a very shy child and did not like taking risks i was terrified to put myself out there partly because i was bullied as a kid so i had no self confidence. However i did over come that fear by taking a risk. One of the best risks I have taken on has been my Acting & Modeling Career. I have been blessed to have made it thus far and experienced things I never thought imaginable. My very first experience in this industry started when i was about 6 or 7 years old. I entered into my first beauty pageant. Because of taking that one risk i decided to take on another as i got older i would help out with being a hair and make up artist for local photoshoots. I was noticed at one of my shoots by a photographer and well i started taking photos which has lead me to my now modeling career. From that risk i took another i joined a talent agency and was placed as an extra in a film where i was then noticed by the producer and brought on to act not only as an extra but also as a body double/ Stand in for Famous Actress Gabrielle Walsh. Taking risks is so scary the reason this was my favorite risk I’ve taken was because I’ve never had anyone who believed in me i always had family, friends, and others tell me you will never make it, you’ll never be good enough, your dream is a joke, you aren’t even going to stick with it or my favorite you aren’t really doing what you say you are (until they saw my success start to build up) Having so many people doubt you, you start to doubt yourself i am so happy i never gave up on my dream nonmatter how many people didn’t believe in me. I took that risk because i wanted this dream so badly and I’m glad i did it because mine lead me to where i am now in my career path.
Some of the work I have accomplished within My industry are as follows
Commercial:
Model for Mia Bella Salon (10/14/2020) by Fathead Media
Turo Car Commercial (7/25/2020) by Jeff York

I have had the opportunity of Attending Hollywood parties one In particular was hosted at Michael Jacksons never land mansion for an MTV Red Carpet Event, Another event I have attended is a Red Carpet Event in Las Vegas where I met a variety of actors and actresses including Actor Robert Lasardo.
I did also receive one award from My talent agency as Most Improved in 2020.
Take the risk readers even if its the scariest risk you’ll ever make because you never know where it could lead you.

Danica, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My Name Is Danica i am 30 years old and a single mom to a Beautiful 8 year old little girl. I work in the medical field full time but when i am not working in the medical field or being a momma i travel to different states for modeling and acting. Modeling and acting has always been my passion ever since i was a little girl. My first experience in the Modeling and acting industry was when i was enrolled in the Miss American Miss Co-Ed Pageant at the age of 7. It was such an amazing experience being a child and getting to experience makeup and hair stylist make me pretty, to getting to practice my choreography routine for my performance In front of thousands of people. Not only were there people in the audience but the entire pageant was televised live that feeling of being on stage with the camera pointed at me lights flashing at me from multiple camera persons and people clapping after each performance was such an exhilarating feeling. In this industry you have to have a lot of self discipline and be accountable for all the good and bad that comes your way. I think what sets me apart from others is i have such strive in everything that i do i never half (a$$) anything i give it my all no matter what the outcome will be. Id rather know that i tried and fought for my dreams than just gave up on them right away. i am most proud of how far I’ve come in my acting/modeling career in just a few short years i was able to be in two feature films a few commercials and a music video soon i will be filming in another feature film which i am very excited for, being able to travel and do what i love is so heart warming i do not know where my journey will take me in the future but i am ready to tackle on as many obstacles that i can. like i say in all my articles i want my readers, fans and followers to take that chance no matter the outcome fight for what you really want in life and above all NEVER… i mean NEVER give up on your dreams.

What do you find most rewarding about being creative?
I think the most rewarding part of being an artist in my industry is i get to share my story and hopefully encourage other to follow their dreams if i can help at least one person out than that is enough for me to feel fulfilled.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building your audience in this industry is very tricky it really is all about who you know and even when its not about who you know its about getting yourself out there being feature in these magazines really shines a light on gaining an audience readers are interested in your story and want to know more about you so they follow and support you along the way.
