Dani , appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I always wanted to be a soccer player. If wax when I learned I am better at telling stories about soccer players than being one that I understood I am a filmmaker.,

Dani , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m a two-time Israeli Academy Awards writer and director. I have been doing this for almost 30 years in films and TV. My biggest reward is impacting and inspiring people who watch my work.,

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

I always asked myself if and how I can work on my passion and make a living while doing so. Today, I know that once you follow your passion, and work hard with persistence, the financial aspect will follow.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

My first film was about an animator who is a medical miracle and weighs 39 Pounds cause of rare muscular dystrophy. Many around me were not sure why I am telling this story, and were asking “Who will ever see it?”. I was inspired by this new friend of mine and ended up making 39 POUNDS OF LOVE, which has won the Israeli Academy Awards, was short-listed at the Oscars, and sold to HBO. The main theme of this film is to never give up hope for love, and life. And that is my theme about the craft we are making.
