Dani, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.
Starting out my business, I was a complete novice. I had never taken a business course, marketing course, or anything about website creation. I didn’t even know how to open a business banking account. I taught myself everything, from researching the best working websites to just replicating the platforms my mentors used, I took everything step by step. It was overwhelming and exhausting, but I honestly wouldn’t trade it for the world.
After leaving my 9-5, my nervous system was burnt out, I was anxious about getting everything set up to reach clients and start making money. I realized very quickly that I left my job to start my own business to create the life of my dreams, not to carry over the same work ethic as my previous job.
Starting my business was my biggest personal development journey, and I had no idea how deep I was about to go. Your business is a reflection of you, all your conditioning, limiting beliefs that you have about yourself, and it’s all reflected back to your clients. They can feel your self-doubt, unworthiness, and so even when I told myself consciously I wanted clients, subconsciously I didn’t feel worthy of them paying me for a reading or healing.
Over time, my capacity increased as I regulated my nervous system, I created systems and a schedule that worked around my nonnegotiable 2 hour lunches for beach walks and yoga, and I reprogrammed my subconscious to know it was safe and attract the success I truly desired.
My advice is to hire before you are ready. I had a VA that charged $20/hour that I’d have do 1 social media video a week just to support me. The videos weren’t perfect, but they gave me spaciousness until I was ready to tackle how to make videos on my own.
Now I do everything in my own, marketing, sales, creative, writing, backend, website creation etc, and because of that I know how long it takes to do everything. When I hire again, all my systems are in place to expand. Like in anything you do, practice creates mastery. You absolutely will figure it all out. I’m in year 3 and it already feels exponentially easier. Things I never thought I’d have the capacity for I simply do with ease. Learn to trust yourself. You truly can achieve anything you put your heart to.

Hi! I’m Dani Margeaux, I’m a Soul Activator, Akashic Records Teacher, psychic, galactic and cosmic frequency channel, a gridworker and ultimately a lover of life! I support you in becoming a living embodiment of the magic you believe in.
My whole life, I was on the search for fulfillment. I knew there was something more out of life than what was in front of me. For years, I chased achievement and goals because I identified my worth with my success. I was only good enough based on how productive I was or how much money I made. This belief left me exhausted and unfulfilled. Not until I discovered the unseen world did I find the freedom and fulfillment I had been searching for my whole life.
Everyone wants to feel safe, accepted, and loved at their core. When I support my clients insourcing this for themselves, they step into a level of trust and sovereignty they’ve never held before.
I witness my clients take course after course, accumulating all the knowledge, but their life doesn’t change. Life is meant to be experienced, this is what your soul desires. So until they are able to embody their knowledge and become the vision they see for themselves, their life won’t change. I partner with them to do this, to truly create the life of their dreams limitlessly. I do this through Akashic Record Readings and transformational Akasha deep mentorship containers.
Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
I would choose my business again and again and again. The vision I had for myself 5 years ago is nothing compared to the life I’ve actually created for myself. I have a life of spaciousness and fulfillment in a way I’ve never experienced or ever knew existed. What I have created is beyond anything I could have dreamt of.
Things shifted when I redefined my definition of success. I used to think success was making more money. Now it’s having time to travel, to be my own boss, to work 3 hours a day one day and 10 another day, however many my heart desires. This is freedom to me.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
I took a year long coaching certification that completely changed my life. When I first began giving readings, I didn’t know how to hold space for someone’s emotions or experience. What started as an intention to be a trauma informed coach, actually led to the deepest shadow work of my life. I excavated all my limiting beliefs around visibility and self-worth and money and reprogrammed my subconscious. That year was the first year I experienced enlightenment and the collective consciousness of love. Invest in yourself. You can learn all the things and read all the books, but having a coach or mentor guide you will support you in quantum leaping. And I am an example of that. I became a Reiki Practitioner in 2021, opened the Akashic Records in 2022, and have now taught 35 wonderful students Reiki and the Akashic Records, If I can do it, so can you!
