We recently connected with Dani Enkey and have shared our conversation below.
Dani, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The mission behind the work I do is to help women, especially mothers, become confident in who they are in themselves and outside of motherhood. It is a passion of mine to help women succeed, and I do this as a social media manager, content creator, and a Doula.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a mother of 5, and I would have to say my motherhood journey led me to the path I am on now! As a full time, stay-at-home-mom, I loved being with my children! But I also got lost in motherhood. Being a mother became my whole identity. My husband would encourage me to do something I enjoy or leave the house to do whatever I wanted without the kids, but most of the time I didn’t know what I enjoyed anymore. I was so overwhelmed and burned out. I knew I needed to have breaks and time to myself, but had a subconscious belief that I was not as important as everyone else. So I would give and give of myself, but wouldn’t have the energy or bandwidth to give back to myself to fill my cup. After working with my mentor, I realized these thinking errors and belief systems and began working on myself. After doing much thought work and putting new practices into place, I began having more confidence to do more for myself.
I started a blogging instagram and started gaining the knowledge and skill that I later used to become a Social Media Manager. Everything I learned and applied was self-taught, trial and error, and some things I learned from a few courses I took. I started with 1 client, then my business grew! At one point, I had 7 social media managing clients! It was so fun to see what I grew from the ground up, all by myself! I have lightened my work load to make it more conducive to work with my family life.
Learning the skills for social media managing has helped on my personal accounts, and for the businesses I manage. I will soon be creating an online course to help teach stay-at-home moms how to become a social media manager, to help them create a source of income for their families!

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
One great source to help get new clients is networking. I attend networking events and join local Facebook pages for business owners. This puts me in the right place to connect with the business owners that would decide if what I offer could help them in their business. Usually the business owner is so overwhelmed with the day to day that they don’t have time to run a successful social media account, and that is usually one of the first things they hire someone else to do. So being in the right place and around the right people, and being my authentic self, has helped me find the businesses I want to connect with for potential clients.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
The world of social media is constantly changing and evolving. It is a place you need to have resilience to keep moving forward! Finding other industry leaders that know more than I do has been helpful as I learn from them! So many creators know what the way you keep people interested in what you offer is by offering value. So even if people have things you have to pay for, they usually offer a lot of free value on their page.
