D’andre “Dredoe”, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you wish you had started sooner?
I definitely wish I dove into my music career earlier. Music has always been around me, and has always been a big influence in my life and journey. When I fully embraced the call to music a lot of doors opened and I haven’t regretted a moment since..
D’andre “Dredoe”, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I got into music at a young age just as a consumer, an avid music lover. I loved the way music gave me a chance to see the world from another person’s point of view while still relating it to my journey. The signs were always there, and as I grew, I slowly made my way into creating the same vibes and essence that motivated and moved me in my youth for people maneuvering their journey just like I am. On top of me being a musician/model, I’m a entertainment service provider. If there is any service needed for entertainment: Venue bookings, Dj’s, Hosts, Performers (Hip-hop, R&B, Neo Soul), Promotors, Dancers, Choreographers, Models, Videographers, Photographers, etc. If I don’t do the service myself, I certainly can direct the client to a provider inside of my network who is more than capable. What sets me apart as an artist is I’m not afraid to embrace myself and my sound in every capacity, and I think that’s the same thing that sets Dremendous LLC apart as a brand. We want our clients to be satisfied with whatever service requested and provided. We work together as a team to build greatness amongst one another, and we strive to set a high standard.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me the most rewarding part of being an artist is being able to connect with fans through the music, hearing that one of the songs I created helped another person. Weather it being mentally, emotionally or physically inspiring. Whenever I can give someone the feeling I used to get when hearing my favorite artists growing up, when a gem in one of my songs is picked up and utilized in the best way possible to help for the better. These are some of the aspects that make it worthwhile being an artist.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
The overall goal is to be able to create on my own terms but deeper than that I want to create a platform and a safe space for creatives to put their work out into the world. I want to help other creatives get recognized and have their talents displayed in a way that benefits them the best individually. I love to help others, and if there is a way I could help bring another person’s creative dreams to life, I consider that to be a honor.
