Hi Dana, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Our tragedy to triumph!! Never give up, keep pressing forward, we were determined to solve a problem from a personal tragedy that happened to our grandson and by doing so we created the most amazing pool float ever! It not only helped Logan in many ways but was fun for the entire family. Happy Jack floats are in stores scattered throughout the USA

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Our grandson “Logan “ fell from a tree swing and suffered a TBI ( Traumatic brain injury) he was given 24 hours at best to live, after much prayer and therapy, Logan best astronomical odds of survival. He was left with some disabilities and loved the water and needed a float to accommodate him. That’s when I created Happy Jack float, with its unique shape it was a big help in the water and quickly became to go to float for our entire family and so many other beach goers and pool lovers.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

Being a wife, mom, maw maw and starting a new business wasn’t easy , it takes a lot of hard work and is very time consuming building your own brand but seeing the smile it put on Logan’s face and the actual use of it made to help him in the water was worth every bit of blood sweat and tears.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

I literally drove to pool stores, wal-marts, etc. asking to speak to a manager with a Happy Jack in my hand and told them they’d be missing out if they didn’t put this great float in their stores. You have to believe in your product before others will!!!
