We recently connected with Dana Kramer and have shared our conversation below.

Dana, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

As a Creative Director and Wardrobe Stylist based in New Hampshire and New England, I am most comfortable working within my local landscape. However, in 2023, I had the opportunity to travel to North Carolina when photographer Fur and Lace Photography (who has become a dear friend and source of inspiration for me both personally and professionally) booked me for several creative photoshoots in her hometown. This was an awe-inspiring artistic journey full of exploration and expression and wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t stepped outside my comfort zone.

I am a Creative Director and Wardrobe Stylist who partners with industry-defining creatives boldly forging their own path to the forefront of their field. From entrepreneurs to artists, there is room in this Haus for anyone who craves experimental, playful, provocative imagery to support their wildest dreams. Haus of Gravity is a safe space for misfits, outcasts, and the traditionally “othered” to be themselves without boundaries or expectations. I welcome all people and ideas into my atmosphere.

Guided by creativity, passion, and good-spirited rebellion, I love nothing more than leading my clients through a process of creative deviation, defying convention, and embracing the unexpected. Never one to follow rules, my idea of a perfect partnership is a dance into the unknown–holding hands as we transport ourselves to an undiscovered reality.

The most important thing you can know about me is this: I am on your team. Your ideas, dreams, visions, and thoughts are safe with me. In fact, if you allow me, I will hold these pieces of your soul and transform them into an editorial representation of your innermost desires. It’s what I do best, and what my clients love most.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

In this Haus, there is no gravity…

…no creative boundaries, and nothing tethering us down. I encourage and expect exploration, play, and an empathetic disregard for societal rules. I don’t believe in rigid standards. I don’t believe in “shoulds.” In this Haus, the only thing standing between you and your wildest dreams is having the courage to make them your reality.

I believe that ideas are sacred and deserve both reverence and respect. I understand that opening up, both creatively and personally, is at once vulnerable and freeing. My vow to you is to honor your ideas as if they were my own, give them room to grow and shift, and ultimately become your partner and driving force in creating the dreamscape you’ve always envisioned.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

Entrepreneurship can be confusing, isolating, and lonely. I wish that I had access to legal resources earlier in my creative journey. Ensuring your business foundation is set up correctly and protecting your assets is extremely important, and it’s why I can’t say enough positive things about The Legalpreneur. Andrea has been instrumental in my success and I recommend her to all entrepreneurs.
