We were lucky to catch up with Dana Bee Jacobson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Dana Bee, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
The idea for being your holistic connector was born from my own personal journey — the one that taught me how healing truly happens in community.
As the subject matter expert of my own journey, it felt deeply aligned and authentic to spotlight the people and places that held space for me as I began removing the armor, chipping away the layers, and becoming my truest self — the one who leads with love and radiates light.
Along the way, I noticed something: we’re all in this together, yet so often we forget that. My biggest thing (and yes, literally one of my biggest things) is kindness — in every form. Like, can we please just pick up our trash and be kind to one another? It’s that simple.
And in the wellness world, I’ve seen so many incredible practitioners trying to do it all — marketing, planning, social media, hosting — when really, just like in any other field, it takes a team. When we each focus on our strengths and come together, that’s where the magic happens.
That’s why I started Bee Aligned — what began over a year ago as a small monthly gathering for women has now become a growing community of connection and collaboration. Each week, I send out my Wise Women Wednesday newsletter to share my journey, highlight others, and remind us all that we don’t have to do this alone.
The mission is simple:
To move away from isolation.
To lead with heart.
And to create spaces where no one has to pretend to belong.
Because when we show up as ourselves, together, that’s when we are truly aligned. I am a native Californian, born in Van Nuys, raised in Chatsworth, college in San Luis Obispo and the roots of California living and loving are in my bones and it is the heart of me, no matter where I live the Golden State shines bright in my heart.

Dana Bee, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Dana B. Jacobson, also known as Dana Bee — Your Holistic Connector. The “B” stands for Devora, my Hebrew name, which means bee. It felt divinely aligned to bring that symbolism into my brand — bees are community builders, connectors, and creators of sweetness — everything I aspire to embody and inspire in others.
My journey began through deep healing and personal transformation. As I learned to remove the armor and reconnect with my true self, I became passionate about helping others do the same — leading with love, authenticity, and purpose.
Through Bee Aligned, I support women, wellness practitioners, and creative entrepreneurs in finding alignment between their spirit and strategy. I hold space for growth through 1:1 strategy sessions, community gatherings, and my Wise Women Wednesday newsletter — all designed to move us away from isolation and back into meaningful connection.
This mission extends into collaborations and conscious offerings — like my new collab “It’s Going to Be Okay” grey hat, a reminder to stay grounded through the waves, and my Stan Store tools such as the 7-Day Reset using the S.E.E. Method, which helped me on my own healing and self-love journey. using the tools of Somatic, Energy and Emotion these tools shaped my journey and continue to keep me aligned daily with the practices of self love, movement and release of emotions.
Bee Aligned isn’t just a brand — it’s a movement of kindness, collaboration, and authenticity. I’m most proud of how this community continues to grow — showing that when we each focus on our strengths and come together, we create something truly healing.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
Gary Vaynerchuck has been a huge inspiration, his social media platform, books and youtube videos are so inspiring. I also appreciate his Chief Heart Officer Claude, she has also shed a light on how to do business and lead with authenticity and kindness, I am excited to read her new book this month. Another book is “How to Human” by Carlos Whittaker, this book was so reaffirming that I have found my purpose and leaning into kindness even when you may not see eye to eye with someone is the root of humanity.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
I think it is important to stay connected to all clients new and existing connections. I keep notes and dates in my phone to refer back to, such as details of the conversation, birthdays, names of family members. This helps to keep me aligned and grow the relationships. It is important that your clients feel valued and when it is also your value to stay connected and engaged that is priceless in my opinion. I will set emails on delay to encourage work life balance not just on my end but for them as well, we do not need to work 24 hours day to be successful and engaged, it is also important to have boundaries and know that it is okay to say no for the betterment of your business.
