We were lucky to catch up with Damon Terry recently and have shared our conversation below.
Damon, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
Sacrifice with unimaginable Faith and with risk must come with reward.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Damon Terry but sometimes they call me Brother Man. I created my companies TvSnackFilms in 2012 where I just started relaunching with creating and recording commercial jingles/voiceovers that I am pitching to the major brands that’s streaming now YouTube: @TvSnackFilms
TTS Music in 2020 I don’t rap I don’t sing I am not your traditional poet, I AM BROTHER MAN. I just dropped The Commitment Prayer on my YouTube: @iambrotherman
I’m 46 years young living in Columbus, Ohio raised in a small town Tazewell County VA, a true mountain boy that loves the outdoors and it’s life adventures.
The objective goal is to either sign to multiple major brands to create and record commercial/voiceover advertising or to sign to a talent agency to create projects for their clients a very difficult task indeed but I can prove 1st of their kind content with advertising ideas that has never been done before and that’s on small or the biggest stages in the world, I can stand on my word with 100% confidence.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
In 2016 I did a huge TvSnackFilms launch with 55 models with 15 Led backpack billboards passing out TvSnackFilms advertising with passing out socks and water to the homeless. I did this launch in front of the old Atlanta Hawks arena beside the CNN building with no permit me and the team was outside for 12 hours going hard chasing unimaginable success but I couldn’t secure the deal and I took 30 commercial jingles off my YouTube so no other company would duplicate my style and now I am back with a new commercial jingles/voiceovers pitching to major brands again and this time I will secure these major deals if it takes my last breath.
Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
My views on NFT’s I think they are so cool so unique but over valued almost a scam how celebrities and others was pushing to make them big and it tanked like I knew it was going to. But I am still on a mission to get my ideas created that’s going to one day take over the NFT world.
