Dalton, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the decision of whether to donate a percentage of sales to an organization or cause – we’d love to hear the backstory of how you thought through this.

I donate services to charities and organizations all over the state of georgia. I believe that giving back to the community is super important. Ive had the opportunity to donate services to organizations such as the Girl scouts of coastal georgia, Tharros place, and the American Heart association. All of these organizations do great things in the local community and im happy to support them in anyway I can.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

i am a scad student, and soon to be alumni. I started my photo and video business myself after being fortunate to have an internship with a local company in georgia. It was a slow start at first, I belive it was slow because being in the wedding industry specifically it requires alot of trust from your clients. Working on the one of the most important days of their lives is a big responsibility. I have been fortunate enough to build up my reputation in the industry through hard work and dedication to the craft adn my clients. I try to take a 360 degree approach wiht my clients, I work with them every step of the way and make sure we give them a personalized product. No two weddings are alike so I really value the meetings and planning we do before hand to get a great end result.

Im most proud of the brand ive been able to build. We do beautiful work in my opinion and Im so happy to show people their photos. I pride myself and team on being hard workers, on time and ready for any project. I hope that when any client no matter hwo big or small of a project can feel confident when working with us.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect is being able to create art and sustain yourself. Having a job that I love and allows me to express myself is a dream come true. I get to put my own touch on any project from corporate work to weddings to headshots. Being able to do what I love as a job cannot be topped.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Hard work, honesty and a good calendar. I try to say yes to every opportunity. Sometimes the job may not pay great but if you do a great job at it then the next job could come from it. Making sure I dont double book so that i can dedicate myself fully to something and being honest with a client or employer when its something you havent done before or if you think we need to pivot.
