We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dalia Amine a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Dalia , appreciate you joining us today. Innovation comes in all shapes, sizes and across all industries, so we’d love to hear about something you’ve done that you feel was particularly innovative.
I actually created a special career going between the academic and working in real field as a professional archeologist tour guide so that the experience I share with tourists that visit Egypt is will supported by the evidences and scientific researchers and latest exhibitions archaeological and historical field
Dalia , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am pleased to tell you a little part about my scientific and practical life.
I work mainly as a professional tour guide and archaeologist. I obtained a master’s and a doctorate in tourism guidance from one of the Egyptian public universities.
I was awarded the title of the best tour guide in Egypt and North Africa in 2020, from WFTGA and Alexandria University as well as Fayoum University 2021, recently my PhD thiese classified as the best doctorate in guidance on 2021/2022 by
The Egyptian archeologists union. respectively, member of the Union of Arab Archaeologists, I have also a YouTube channel with my name ( new version with Dalia Amine) to share my experience and to help others to understand the Egyptian history and culture, one of my public works is being the head of the Egypt office of the Afro-Asian Union of the Organization of African and Asian Peoples.
I teach at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for students of the Department of Tourist Guidance.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Yes, I really like to know more about the difficults that the successful people faced on their life to take a good lesson and avoid their mistakes to make a shortcut to the right way in order to improve my patience until I achieve my goals.
