We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dali Hernandez . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dali below.
Dali , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Everyone’s definition of success is different. How I measure success is the freedom that I’m running the day and the day isn’t running me. I also believe in being happy for others and their success. I never understand people that are envious it’s such an ugly quality to have and in a world where everyone is sizing each other up on a screen is pretty sad. Let’s face it we all have problems. I’ve had some major obstacles from major health issues to unhealthy relationships. They were setbacks for whatever reason I went through them. They made me stronger and more resilient. I am now in my season of winning. It’s been hard work and it’s paying off. No one handed me anything on a silver platter. I love to empower others. Especially other females. I love to lift and rise others and probably because I never got that growing up. Our parents can be very critical. My success is waking up every day to this moment in my life and being present in this time. Pinching myself every morning when I wake up and tell myself I am living that dream. I am blessed and joyful.

Dali , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
It is important to let people be naturally who they are. If we try to enforce a military type it doesn’t work. I learned that from a boss when I was younger that was the managing partner of a big law firm. Giving them the tools to achieve success. I am also a big believer in the DISC personality test. It helps adapts personality styles and what drives your team and people. I also believe in reward and recognition as well as team gatherings for bonding and comradery.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
My work started to get recognized in the local community when I lived in Tampa. I am now starting to connect with the Fashion Industry in Miami. Since relocating to Miami. I haven’t been involved and I would like to start collaborating with photographers and people in the industry. Getting published in magazines and featured on TV segments helps build credibility. It’s how I started to build an audience. Through my work.
