Hi Dale, thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?

As a kid, my parents had a camera that I would use from time to time. As I got older as a teenager, I lost interest in it. Once I got to community college I picked up a job with my school’s football team videotaping games and practices as a manager. I did that for two seasons and once I moved on to university I ended up taking an extended break again. During covid my interest spiked and I started taking portraits. And I’ve been in love ever since.

Dale, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

By circumstance, I’m a portrait and event photographer. A working relationship developed with DJ Macho we were both students at MSU during the fall semester of 2021. I now mainly offer creative studio portraits for customers. I’m proud of my expedited growth in skill over the last year or so.

Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)

As a digital-based artist it’s hard to grasp the appeal of NFTs. Many of my works I think are better experience as large-format physical prints. I think everyone should be cautionary with the rise of AI as well as rights and ownership complications.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Since I started as a student I was able to grow my clientele and presence by taking pictures at school-related events and college parties. Then I started shooting and creative directing creative portraits of my friends. Eventually, I was taking bookings for senior portraits.
