We were lucky to catch up with Dakota Dillon recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Dakota thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
It’s simple, put my feelings into my songs and put out as much music as possible and reach as many people as possible!
The feeling of a fanbase relating to your music or what your going through is un real!
Unlike anything else. So the plan is simple. D!llon the Dreamer is going to continue to take the world by a storm with his passionate, vibey, and expressive music!

D!llon represents everyone going through anything or anyone that may feel alone, truly know that you are never alone when you are a part of the Dream Club.
I completely give everything off mine to my fans. I will stay hours after shows just greeting and talking with all of them!
So anyone is welcome. My community I have built is truly a home for anyone who has never felt like they belong. YOU ALL BELONG!

How did you build your audience on social media?
Absolutely! The main goal is to be yiurself always, don’t pay attention to the negative feedback, focus on the good!
Engage with your Audience as much as possible!
Promote! Promote!, and promote!
Pick and choose your content carefully and post times are very important! Don’t post at times nobody is awake. Post during times people would be on their phones!
Also be creative and different. There is so much content on social media but what makes you stand out is your unique difference on what you can bring to the table!! Like for me, it’s music and virtual shows!!
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
So it wasn’t more of a pivot then it was to go a different creative direction with my sound because I built my own studio and produce, mix, master everything myself.
So yeah I changed a lot and have a lot of new and different projects coming out very soon!
