We were lucky to catch up with DaJoir Thomas recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, DaJoir thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made (either in terms of time or money)? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)

The best investment I have ever made was investing into myself. As I got older , I understood the importance of time management and the value of obtaining information (stocks real estate, etc) to become a better version of myself. Im still a working progress but it is still a long road ahead. In addition to that, my second best investment is starting Kickback N Chill!.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

DaJoir Thomas, also known as Day, is a 24 year old actor, producer, and TV personality. Since 2017, DaJoir has always had a passion for film and television. With his conspicuous personality, he was able to star in various short films which led him to win the 2018 BMCC Film Festival for Best Actor. After being an actor in short films and hearing from people that he’s a natural on camera, he decided to spread his wings and become a co-host on MNN “The Spotlight”. This was an immense moment for DaJoir because he had then acquired a new occupation – showing people he was more than just an actor.

Being a co-host on The Spotlight for a year gave DaJoir the opportunity of a lifetime to create his own talk show called “Kickback N Chill”. “Kickback N Chill” is a show that consists of highlighting talented individuals’ projects and the journey behind it. From DaJoir’s prior experience on “The Spotlight ”, creating and directing his own show gave him a substantial role to handle on production. He enjoys the ability of conducting informative interviews with his guests along with “kicking back”, which is having interaction within a relaxing ambiance.

After two great seasons of the show, he is now entering Season Three with new guests, entertainment, and more laughter than ever before. With his most frequent hashtag on his page called “Opportunities Being Created”, it serves as an unwavering reminder for DaJoir to perpetually create opportunities for himself and others. Respectively, his goal-oriented mindset supplements his continuous growth within himself and mounting himself up for his following success. You can catch DaJoir on his “Kickback N Chill” show on Fridays at 3pm on MNN2.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My goal that drives my creative journey is to make it on a major platform and show other creators that it is possible to “make it” with hard work and consistency. At some point, teach other aspiring creators and them under my tutelage to learn the ropes. Each one teach one.

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?

The trend on NFts have slowly hit a decline however they offer major perks that all creators should consider as they go on their journey. NFTs offer exclusiveness that many people enjoy to have, especially when they’re providing a great product/service thats in high demand. It increases expansion within your creativity & more.
