Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Daja Barnes . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Daja , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
Risk are supposed to be taken everyday. Calculated risk to be exact. Honestly, If I picked a story, I’d be typing all day. It is very important to understand, your goal isn’t going to fall in your lap, by playing it safe. Nothing big comes out of playing it safe! Taking a risk has its pros and cons, but having an intentional plan to bounce off every hump is what’s going to set you a part from any other business or better yet have you 10 steps ahead.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi, my name is Daja Barnes. I’d like to introduce myself as a multifaceted woman. I’m
I am currently in both sides of the world, career and business owner.
I have a Travel Agency, Passport Baddie and Skincare Line, Da’Beau Co.
My in progress venture is a vending machine business, Precisely Fresh Vending.
Im sure you could imagine with a career and business opportunities comes with a great deal of discipline and structure, easier said than done! Trust me.
I am most proud of my ability to effectively problem solve, create solutions for myself and my clients. To whom much is given, much is required. If you’re anything like me and always looking to elevate, Life will bring you challenges after challenges, it’s guaranteed. Life doesn’t get easier, your mind becomes greater! This trait sets me apart from the world.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What helped me build my reputation within the market is integrity. Are you working on your business when no one is looking? Having a plan for plan A and a plan for plan B is what builds integrity. 80% of your reputation is built in the dark. The sale/relationship is the end of the journey!
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I learned the hard way, but if you do have the mindset of going fast or racing PLEASE unlearn.
Everything started to elevate once I slowed down on my journey! Slowing down sharpens your focus and allows you to thoroughly create a successful business.
