Daisy & Karina , appreciate you joining us today. Do you think folks should manage their own social media or hire a professional? What do you do?
We’ve been lucky enough to run our own social media account. Thankfully we have always been creative individuals with social media experience. This has definitely helped in our business venture! A tip that we can share with other businesses owners that are thinking of growing their social media account would be to stay CONSISTENT and SHOW UP everyday.
Daisy & Karina , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
We are a charcuterie business. We’re a sister duo who currently serve the DFW area. We offer charcuterie items such as cones, cups, boards, and even graze tables. We cater small events all the way to large weddings of 200 or more guests. We want our clients to focus on their event and be completely stress free when it comes to catering.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
We started are business right before Covid hit. It was definitely a hard time to start as business because right after we started the world shut down. Instead of giving up we decided to really focus on building a website and growing our social media. This was actually a time that allowed us to brainstorm, get creative, and build our platform.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
We are fortunate enough to have funded the start of our business. We saved up and continue to fund our own business.
