Daisy, appreciate you joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Determination is the key for success, the biggest problem in people is procrastination, which is what stops you from growing. I think many of us at some point in our life we procrastinate. Taking the time to brainstorm what your goals are in life and be determine to accomplish them is what will help you be successful. We all go through struggles in life but sometimes struggles are what make you a stronger person.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My grandmother was diagnosed with Melanoma when I was 16 years old. We pretty much lived in the hospital for 3 months I stopped going to school for a few weeks to take care of her. One night a nurse told me I should work in the medical field, She saw the love and care I had for my grandmother. After high school I enrolled in a vocational school for Business Admin. I worked for a few month’s and realized that’s not what I really wanted to do. I went back to school and graduated as a Medical Assistant. Now, 15 years later I still work in the medical field, but realized I can do more helping families. I decided to join the Real estate Industry. Seeing the lack of knowledge in the Hispanic community motivated me to do something for my people. I began letting my friends, family and church member’s know I am a Realtor now and was ready to help families make there dream come true of owning their dream home.

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?
I met a family during an open house who walked in with the intention of just seeing the house, they never imagined could buy a house due to them not being residents or citizens, After speaking with them and letting them know there’s options the couple became excited knowing becoming home owners is no longer a dream but soon can become a reality. We drove all over the city looking for there dream home and after a week, we went under contract. Seeing the excitement in them is my biggest reward.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The best strategy is educating, many people don’t know of the resources there are in Real estate. Informing the community of Programs, seminars, financial services everything that can help them become a home owner and what it entails.
