We were lucky to catch up with Daeshaun White recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Daeshaun , thanks for joining us today. Do you have a hero? What have you learned from them?
This is a great question because, I have multiple héros in my life. I have been blessed with opportunities to see and be with influential people throughout my life. This allows me to pick and choose for myself on what I think is positve or not. There has been many people that impact my life in some way. Hero’s can also change throughout life’s course to, depending your goals and dreams. Each conversation I encounter, I look forward to learning from that individual. I love the saying “you learn something new everyday”, because it’s true! There is a hero in all of us.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Growing up, I always loved music. I never thought I’d be a DJ. I remember as a kid, for Christmas we got the game “DJ Hero” on Playstation. Little did I know, that was the planted seed. I wasn’t on expert mode or anything like that, but I remember enjoying mixing and blending cool songs together. It wasn’t until 2020, when I actually touched an actual DJ controller for the first time. It was the spark I needed during crazy times. I practiced almost every day for 3-4 months til I got my first gig. Currently the business is operating full scale. We have an excellent team of professionals who get things done. We service Weddings, Corporate Events, Birthday Parties, Sporting events, Grand Openings and More. Our team has over 10+ years experience of gained customer service knowledge. With that experience, it allows us to fully engage with our clients and serve them to the best of our capacity. This makes me proud. Implementing my gift and seeing how it impacts others is beautiful. None of this is possible without consistancy. I look forward to growing and developing more to see what else is possible.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Social media can help you or work against you. Growing a name and a brand has allowed me approach social media differently. Consistency on social media is the bread and butter. The part I had to be cautious about was what I was posting about consistently. Learning your audience through an app can be stressful, but that’s okay. Remember just have fun! Posting good content gives you an upper advantage in my opinion. This goes along with the quality of what you are presenting and the individual’s image presenting it. I don’t think you have to “fake it to you make it.” Being your authentic self is what’s going to go viral. I can still be shy at times but posting my image validates who I am and the brand I’m growing and representing.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I love this question. My answer is Showing up for others. When building a reputation I think it is important to think about how you want to be remembered. Are you known to serve others, show up on time, show love in the community? All these things matter, especially when you are looking for that “Yes” that could change your life.
